Rhye's of Civilization - the fastest loading mod Expanded - PART II

I´ve finally installed this mod and I´m having an amazing time playing as the japanese on the world map, but my computers sucks making the wait at the end of the turn is around 13 secs(I´m in middle ages)...

but I´m playing anyway, the question is, I want to play in a random map, and what will happen if I don´t follow the settings (like 60% water, etc)? I hate all those mountains and swamps =__=, so i want to know if the game will crash anywhere if I change the options

I am still waiting for an answer about whether or not this mod will run on a non-Intel Mac. My previous experience with massive mods has been entirely negative, i.e. they do not run. I am not interested in spending hours on my Windows box game editor to try and fix errors.
 
Hey, question Rhye. The main download you have on the first post is called setup. is this the mod download?

and, p.s., if anyone in the rest of the posts have already asked ths question, then sorry. I'm too lazy to read the whole thing.:crazyeye:
 
All i did was download the installer to the conquests\senarios folder, then folowed all the promted steps.
And, Rhye great senario, but why do settlers have to be 120 shields?
 
I think he said its to limit the AI's crazy "build a city everywhere we can" scheme.

EDIT: Also, it may just be because I'm a bad player, but I'm the Ottomans and I'm still in the Ancient Ages at 850 A.D, and its Chieftain level. Everyone else is still behind me by 1-7 techs, but is this normal? (I know, Chieftain's bad for you, but I just always do it first time doing a mod to inform myself of all the different stuff.)
 
I did the download and installed the mod... but the folder do not appear in Scenarios (Atari/Civilization III/Conquest/Scenarios). When I try to enter in the game clicking Civ-Content, the mod does not appear. Help please!

It has to be Conquests\Scenarios, could that be it? When you installed did it say something like "the directory you chose does not exist do you want to create it?" Do you have Conquests?
 
I'm having a problem: the internet on my gaming computer is broken and this refuses to go on a disc. Help!

Edit: Never mind, for some reason, it works with a flash drive. Still, I have a few questions. First it says Sid is the easiest difficulty. Second off, it doesn't say what year it is, just the month. Could somebody please explain
 
That's usually due to an error in patching. Is the main menu screwed up, too? Is the month Nov.?
