Rhye's of Civilization - the fastest loading mod Expanded - PART II

I'm online now and I'll be online again later today, sometime in the afternoon (I'm gonna go play some Knight of the Old Republic soon... Why do I get addicted to games so easily?! ><)

Hey -- I lost my PTW CD. I still have the basic and the conquests CD. Will I be able to load/play this?

PTW is included on the conquests cd. When you installed conquests, you actually installed conquests and reinstalled PTW. Idiots! (not you, Firaxis)

Not exactly. I've had problems in the past because there were some files that I don't had. Graphics files, etc, IIRC.

I have counted the points of the RMC (now called RGC).

As I'm in charge now, I've decided on my own on where to be strict or where not to be, when interpretating the rules.

This has meant that my points don't match the points some of you have calculated for yourself, and that the winner isn't as clear as you could have thought.

I'll post the results in the site later tonight.

Actually, no. I was making a reference to your AI neighbors dogpiling you. bad joke... i know.

nice guess, though. I hadnt thought of that.

Yeah, I thought of that as well actually, but I thought I'd add a bit more. :)

woohoo :D. What a good day. Finding out I passed all my classes so I get to graduate koolege, and then this.

Next one sounds like it could be fun. Luckly I (after tuesday) have some free time again.

Any chance we can see how the points breakdown happened? I only ask because I don't wanna use time on a strategy that won't get me points :).

I decided to be strict about the path you've chosen:

when you take the European route, then you'll get no points from other routes. Otherwise, what's the point of having them? For this reason you've made a total of 1900+ points instead of 2500+, and you risked a resounding defeat :p

Then, I decided not to include mustangs in the count of the resources, and to look if you had the territory where future strategic resources would appear.

Instead I was strict when judging colonies in Oceania: Blaphemous said small islands and Polynesia. He probably meant Indonesia, but what's written is written, so colonies there didn't count.

Blasp, when are you online on ICQ?
I've already the list of the goals for RGC2 and I wanted your opinion.

I'll be online tomorrow evening...
And about the routes, the ideas was that with the easier routes it paid off to stick to them because of the large bonuses involved, but with the European route, because it was so hard, you were essentially free to conquer wherever else you want... You were also supposed to be able to just conquer around at your liesure with no adherence to a specific route...
But whatever... I don't think it makes a huge difference...

Just because I haven't posted in a while... :p

I'm finishing my Portugal game very slowly... it's fun to own Russia, Europe (minus England and Scandinavia, but give me ten turns, I swear...), North Africa, South America, and the Middle East.

With Communism, I only have two-thirds of my total allowed troops (over 280), mostly machine gunners and Trench Infantry, three Cavalry armies and two Trench Infantry armies, each with four units.

I love this game! :goodjob:

I can't wait for the next RGC........ :goodjob:

RGC2 is starting Saturday.
I'd like to make a richer competition this time, considering that many who start the game don't send the save (seeing the only 5 submissions of RGC1 compared to the people who initially joined).
Can you invite someone?

Something new happened to me. I'm playing Japan for a one city cultural victory, emperor difficulty. I'm in 1960, tech leader, researching globalization and producing 95 culture per turn (winning in 6 turns if I'm not wrong). But I've NEVER been at war since the game began. Never. Even when I was completely defenseless and without a decent army. Obviously, after saying it, every civ in the world will declare war.... But it's the first time that no one comes attacking after thousands years
