That is an excellent explanation for the lack of entourages despite being included in the artists' sketches.

I recall that Napoleon was supposed to have troops marching behind him. That would have been really cool.

Out of the vanilla V civs, Gandhi was by far the worst. If I hadn't read somewhere he was on the Ganges, I wouldn't have known. Askia, Darius, and Montezuma were all pretty good though. Caesar's wasn't impressive, but he had good mannerisms. Nebuchadnezzar throwing his goblet was also a fun touch.

The leader screens got much better as the expansions rolled out. Personal favorites were Pacal, Dido, Gajah Mada, and Pocatello.

Don't forget George Washington spinning his globe and William of Orange reading a book.

Do we really have nothing to talk about except Civ5's leaderscreens? :p

In all of my recent games, I've been going for domination victory. I wonder how the loyalty system would impact that. Would a lot of the cities I conquered declare independence when loyalty is too low? And how would I increase loyalty in the conquered cities?

It would be interesting if the courthouse were brought back; courthouses becoming more expensive the more they are built.

Yes, we apparently ran out of things to discuss in this thread that doesn't overlap with another topic found elsewhere in this website.

61 days (Baltimore time) isn't that much time, as long as we keep having things to discuss.

Right now, there aren't enough discussions here.

Time flies when you’re having fun. Or when you have a giant assignment with a looming deadline that you keep putting off. So either start having fun or start having guilty fun burdened with the knowledge that soon you will be scrambling to do way too much stuff all at once and OH MY GOD WHY DIDN’T I START THIS A WEEK AGO?!

I would not be at all surprised if it came back as a new city center building that increases loyalty. If you can trust the government to apply laws fairly, you're less likely to try to kick them out.

You should have. This thread was having practically a post per minute a week ago. Now, it's about an hour per post, which is not enough to keep pace with breaking the record for having the most posts in the Civ VI General Discussion thread by release day.

To keep pace, we need to make 42 posts per day here.

She could do Hela of the Asgardians too, or Galadriel of Lothlorien.

Have we seen any rearranging of the City Center graphics that would suggest this?

We haven't seen cities that have been taken over by another civ, either militarily or through culture-flipping yet.

I would say that a courthouse building is possible for the new Government Plaza district, but you only get one of those per empire. Maybe a supreme court, however?

A Supreme Court would be great for the Government Plaza, while the Courthouse can be built in the City Centre of your civ's city not founded by you.

It would be possible to have a Supreme Court in a city other than your capital, just like how Sucre is the judicial capital of Bolivia (La Paz being the legislative and executive capitals of that county).

Churchill is a huge character, he would make a great leaderscreen puffing a cigar and grunting.

You Brits would love this one probably:

Let me explain how welcome the idea of Thatcher would be with the following anecdote: When she died my friend's Dad organised a street party in celebration. He was far from the only one.

    Thatcher died too recently though.

Perhaps we have to wait for Civ VIII or Civ IX at the earliest before we can entertain this idea.
