Rise of Mankind requires that it be installed in the Program Files directory. If you use RoM+AND though, you can use the My Documents directory as well.
So wait, who's right here? Should I re-install Civ outside of Program Files and then re-patch and mod it, or install RoM inside the My Documents/My Games directory? I'm confused.
It's good practice to install all your games outside Program Files as it is. It just so happens that Afforess' genius allows you play AND from your My Documents folder.

Well, I can say for a fact that moving the mod to my My Documents folder bore no fruit (it worked fine, but with still the same problems as last time), so I may try moving it outside of Program Files now.
It's BlueMarble, it didn't affect my RoM9.2 on XP, so I don't think it's affecting it. I meant to re-install Civ earlier but didn't get around to it- I'll do it now.
Reinstalled outside the Program Files directory, all patches installed, RoM9.2 installed. Still not working. *bangs head against desk*
First off, you are playing with No Revolutions off, right? The unit filter is an option in the Bug Settings (Ladybug icon). Look for "Draw Style" or something like that.
If all else fails, turn on error logging (see OP) and post your logs.
Of course. For example here, on civ + leader selection, I'm missing Joan of Arc. I have the new civs, such as the Iroquois, but the additions to the default civilisations are missing.
