Road to War - Hot Seat Style play

I just discovered this mode of play - 4+ years late I know. I think it may be the best way to play RtW.

As the human player you select those countries of the grouping you wish to play. Select either, AXIS, ALLIES or Communist. All other nations are set to AI.

AXIS: Germany, Italy, Austria, Czechoslavakia, Hungary, Romania (East Balkan), Finland, (Japan)
ALLIES: England, France, Holland, Belgium, Denmark/Norway, Poland, Canada, Greece, USA, (Australia)
COMMUNIST: USSR, (Communist China) and possibly Yugoslavia (West Balkan), Albania

This will give the "Single Player" full control over their allies.

It may be more work, but ultimately more fulfilling.

maybe its a good idea, but you must considerer that USA have unique units, england too....germany...italy...and so ....how do you can do those unique units?...and the production capabilities of each country in WWII.

All the unique units remain. You just swap between each nation at the turn change.
