Whats the correlation between drinking and screaming? Megaphone mouth when drunk is practically universal. Do you scream instead of talk when youre drunk?

Might have something to do with not being able to hear. Drunks always scream so they know they can be heard over the crowd wich in turn causes other drunks to get louder in a vile circle of oneupmanship.

I can't fathom on what is going on in those petty little minds of men and women in college parties, bars, and other festive events that consist of "boisterous merrymaking."

[Note]if this poster use "boisterous merrymaking" as a description of a silly phenomenon that depict individuals loudly screaming while being intoxicated for no significant reason but to grabb-attention to themselves is not a person who is a roaring drunk.

I think screaming is more correlated between Whiskey than just drunk.

Drunk screaming? Only when I'm in a noisy club or concert.

No, its just trying to shout over the noise.

Chose different sh*t, trust me there is lots of flavors.

Leave him be, he's not old enough to drink yet, by a long shot ;)

When I'm drunk (though it happened only about 5-6 times to be drunk as much as not to remember much of what happened) I don't actually scream, but I have a very clear mood: normally I feel like running very fast or dancing, but sometimes I'm extremely sad. I sometimes have a weird smile on my face (or that's what I've been told), but yes, I do talk LOUDER!
BTW - I've been drunk only once before I started hanging out with the guys I do now. Well, since I do, I've been to clubs almost every weekend, I have new clothes and a new bike, and I met lots of girls. Life's much better this way. ;) But I must be careful with not neglecting studying (practicing guitar, especially).

Voiceover: Alcohol and you. Better together for over 5000 years. Remember, it pays to be a serious drinker, not just a responsible one.

It has to do with the degradation of our normal regard for social rules of conduct. Ben Franklin said something along the lines that 'alcohol is the best way to find out exactly how someone feels about something, because it breaks down the natural social barriers that would stop us from saying something rude or in bad taste.' Obviously not his exact words, but that's the jist of what he was saying. Perhaps it applies here as well; we normally don't carry on at the top of our lungs, because we know that it's socially unacceptable to do so. If you're three sheets to the wind, you aren't going to give a rat's behind about who cares that you're bellowing like a gorilla.
