First, the map.
Yes, it's the map of Romania, with it's 41 counties.
Rules are as follows: each region is made up from a number of counties. The player assumes control of a single county and can take over others, if he has enough soldiers ( will explain later)
If the region's goal is accomplished, the others have 2 rounds to either undo the region's goal or to take over it's capital county.
Now, different regions (differentiated by colors) have different goals.
As an example, the two counties in the yellow region to the south-east have the goal to reach and completely surround the capital region, Since the region is smaller, they have double income each month (by the way, time is measured in months) . Other regions have other goals.

Moldova region ( grey, north-east) - capital : Iasi County (IS)
Goal: Take over the capitals of all other regions.

Attention! Non-player counties will act accordingly to their goals!
Important Rules:
-you must announce one month in advance which county you will attack.
-each month the income of the counties you own will be added to it's owner. The owner can sped income in the following ways:
*for each 5 income points invested into Economy in a certain region, that region's monthly income will rise by 2 (3 if capital, 5 if Litoral Area)
*for each 5 income invested into Army in a certain region, you will receive a regiment of soldiers. Ten regiments are needed to take over an undefended county, 15 if capital. If county is defended, a battle will occur and the result will be determined by an algorithm ( see below).
*if a county is taken over in a battle, no regiments can be recruited from that county in that turn and it will generate only half it's normal income, rounded down to the nearest integer. After one month, the county will return to normal.
Battle Algorithm:
-each regiment gives 10 points to each army involved in the conflict.
-defender receives 10% bonus to his points.
-if attacker is from Litoral Area or Hungarian Lands, he receives a 10% bonus to his points.
-if defender is in his capital, he will receive another 10% bonus.
- if both armies move into the same region in the same turn, there will be no bonuses.
-for a fee of 20 income points from the defender, a "guerilla war" can be started, lowering the enemy army's points by 20%. Only one guerilla war per battle.
-for a fee of 50 income points from the attacker, an "attrition war" can be started. It will last for 2 months. If the region will not receive enough reinforcements, all armies inside will be annihilated and the region turned over to the attacker. The county will not provide income to it's owner and regiments can not be recruited there during the attrition war.
-there is a maximum supported amount of regiments per county. Once there are 40 regiments in a county, it cannot recruit anymore unless the regiments move.
-moving regiments through your territory is possible at all times. It may seem out of place for a regiment from the northernmost county to teleport to the other side of the map in a turn, but it's a game. Romania is small anyway.
IMPORTANT! the country's capital, Bucharest, cannot be taken over. It's simply neutral territory.
Note: You will need to attack your own region's territories to gain counties, but you can also make alliances. All Alliance requests will be sent to the GM (me) and I will decide if the alliance will be created.
