Costa Rica is not a socialist country.


It has a very nice political system where 5 parties regularly have decent shots at the presidency.


Though yeah, they are very environmentally conscious. If I had to peg them politically to another big modern country, I'd say they remind me most of France.

Actually, the linchpin behind my secret plan is to minimize the number of bad laws that do get passed. It's either a few sneaky ones, under the current system, or a lot of openly rotten ones under a dictator. That's why I've set the Left and Right against each other--it's better than one side gaining total control.
