Santorum launches CUM

I concur with Cutlass and peter grimes.

The surprising part is that the CUM site says he's gotten over 6 million dollar from his CUM campaign allready. Seems he's got enough lube to stay in there for a long time yet before he eventually has to pull out of it.

That's cute, but I was talking about his actual views.
I wasn't. I was talking about how conservatives and liberals perceive him. His actual views are irrelevant here.

Colbert makes fun of conservatives on his show--yet conservatives laugh. So do liberals, though for different reasons. And on the third side, moderates like me realize Colbert is actually making fun of both sides. Which just means more jokes for me to laugh at.

The material I posted in here gives the lie to the old stereotype about conservatives being dull and humorless. Problem is, the Other Side really, REALLY wants to hang onto that stereotype..... :shifty:

Moderates like you?

Yup. Go re-read what Peter Grimes said. He likes the material where Colbert makes fun of conservatives. He tends to see Colbert as being on his side. Conservatives laugh at the parts where he makes fun of liberals.

I laugh at his whole show. Because he really is that good.

In that case, you have yet to really address my point, since I have yet to see funny political humor from a conservative. That's not to say that conservatives can't consume comedy, just that they're not very good at coming up with it.

It's always been a dream of mine to hear one of his lessons, even though I kind of doubt they're as funny as his show.
Isn't he a papist, though?

Dude. Seriously?? The Daily Show runs a distant second to Stephen Colbert.
To each their own. :)

I like how the Daily Show goes after the absurdity and corruption in politics and media, I appreciate the creativity that goes into that process. I'm less impressed with emphasizing a stereotype to create comedy. But as I said, to each their own.

As long as you're having a laugh and enjoying yourself all is well.
