Same formate as other quizes. Someone askes a question, someone answers it, if it is correct then they will be awarded with asking a new question, and so one.
If it is correct and the person didn't post a new question in 3 days then the question is up for grabs, anyone can ask a new one.

It is about science,
Herbology
astrology
biology
hydology
micrology
and so on.

IMPORTANT- If this tread becomes popular then i shall lower the time you have to ask the new question and vica-versa.

I like starting Quizes so if you have an idea to revise the rules please feel free to PM me.
Edit- keep in mind that this is not a history quiz
I would prefere if you didn't have so many question where the anwser is a persons name.
Sample question-
What is the difference bettween a Fission and Fussion reaction?

Moseley? When and where was Schwartzchild killed? I know it was also WWI. To think that 2 great scientists were killed in the Great War.

[cough cough]

Errr... hm... isn't this quiz changing to a science history quiz from a science quiz? :crazyeye:

(passes betazed the bottle of Robitussin)

Careful, they'll move the thread over to the history forum.

Well, it is science trivia and there is good reason to ask about people after whom constants, equations, theories, or species are named. The question is whether this is a quiz to test your knowledge of science (i.e. understanding of scientific concepts and processes to answer questions) or to test your knowledge of science trivia. I think it can be a little of both, though I prefer the former.

Now as I step down from this handy soap box that just so happened to be lying here, who's up for the next question?

<edit> Doh!, there's a question still out there. Maybe if I knew how to read...

DeoxyNucleic Acid.

I am fairly sure that is how you spell it. And V2010, I believe that the old quiz was getting too big, or something . . .

Moderator Action: I've scrapped out the old posts to keep to the delete-quiz-when-reach-500-posts rule; the purpose of which is to keep down on spam like this. Now, keep to the quiz - Achinz's question.

Final warning.

I guess it's close enough - the name is George Hevesy and he won the Nobel Prize for chemistry in 1943. He was a pioneer in the field I used to work in, the application of radioactive tracers to chemical and biological research.

Kinniken's turn!
