Because it's literally the barracks' appearance in Civ 6.

Dont know if anyone else spotted, but Black ethnic variation of the Slingger. Kongo unit?
Spoiler :

It has to be one of the famous black Georgians that served Tamar the Great.

Is this incence, or is it the tobacco logo?

The icon looks like incense to me, the plants like tobacco. How do incense plant really look like actually? The tobacco was mentioned in the gamestar magazine with pictures of the resource, but maybe that was an (wrong) interpretation of the resource at their side?

I've noticed this and it's inconsistent; some units do have teamcolors but they're not evenly applied, even changing from scene to scene in the same video. I get the impression that the teamcolor system is incomplete or buggy, but here are some examples of teamcolor changes:

I do hope they get this working, because I think it adds a lot to the diversity of units.

I think they are still working on the units as they release videos.

In the beginning aztec warriors fight against spearman unit who's unit icon has same coloring as Poland in Civ 5.

Well that confirms my theory that the technology that unlocks a district will also unlock the first building in the district. We knew writing allows the construction of a campus due to the unstacking cities first look. Earlier than that, we had seen only the blank icons of the features unlocked when discovering writing in the first gameplay video.

Now that I can match the shapes, Writing clearly unlocks a District and a building. This tech unlocks (among other things) the Barracks and the district as well. So I'd say it's safe to assume that you won't need to research any additional techs to unlock the first building of a district.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the 2nd one seems have no helm( one have a different helm ) and their skin and hair color looks like Roman or Germanic.
Interesting about the helmets. Perhaps as units get more experience, their graphics are upgraded as well (e.g. helmets and nicer looking shields)

It's the same resource that was previously identified as Tobacco, but the icon looks more like Incense.

I was always reluctant to believe that politically-correct Firaxis would include Tobacco in Civilization.

Because this is a single figure, I think she is probably some kind of Great Person (rather than a Missionary, Apostle or Inquisitor). A Great Writer would be the obvious guess.

In the end of Aztec video infantry units look a bit different from the ones in E3 video and some have bayonets.

The shot of the resource with the 6 next to it was labeled specifically as Tobacco. Whether or not the magazine misprinted it is another story.

Looks like myrrh, and the icon looks like an incense censer. I'd guess the German magazine was wrong about tobacco, labeled the wrong thing tobacco, or that there was an issue in translation.
