Screenshot analysis!

Hm, did we know that was what apostles were used for? I hadn't noticed it if so, new to me at least.

Someone posted the PCGN #3 episode but I had missed the #2. It has a picture of a religion (not pantheon) screen at 7:13. I don't recall seeing that yet in this thread.
Hm. Looks like Apostles are involved in adding beliefs. It seems they can also spread religion, so they appear to have the same later-game use as Great Prophets did in Civ V.

It looks like Great Prophets can only found religions. I wonder what you do with them when you already have one. Or maybe they'll eventually get unique abilities like the other Great Persons.

Notice that there are three slots below the religion symbol. I'm wondering if those might be for something like Holy Relics.

I like how the religion symbol forms a constellation. Nice visual touch.

Good Lord. Back in civ5 devs said they didn't give historical names to the prophets to not cause controversy. Imagine potential mess if they gave civ6 prophets names and special abilities :p

Maybe they will exercise some restraint. We have seen names like Confucius in here, maybe they'll add Buddha in, and try not to use names that might raise controversy like Jesus or Mohammed.

Of course, here I am just wildly guessing.

I assumed after getting your first Great Prophet, future Great Prophets that appear in the GP list get re-classed as Apostles, otherwise what would you spend your Great Prophet points on after you founded a religion?

Did any of the videos show Great Prophets still appearing in the GP list after they'd founded a religion?

edit : I know religion wasn't fully implemented in the build used for all of the recent videos, so maybe this question can't be answered yet.

I'm pretty sure IV had great prophet names, but didn't include the big guns (Jesus, Mohamed, The Buddha, etc.).

There were videos that showed the Prophet slot as empty because all of them had been claimed, but people still accumulated points, and there are sources of points only available to you after you have founded a religion, so it seems there will have to be some use of Prophet points after getting one. Something to do with apostles is one of the best guesses right now, but we really have no idea as of right now.

Religion screen looks pretty.

I wish we just would finally get a Firaxis stream where they really show the religious game.

Looking at the "Locked Beliefs" in this image makes me wonder if perhaps some (or all?) beliefs are tied to a specific religion. That seems like a very good idea to me, helping to differentiate each of the religions, making them less generic.

I've also thought before that Civs who adopt certain religions should gain an advantage in constructing a World Wonder connected to that religion, again making them seem less generic.

I just watched Quill17's final video from last week. In the main UI controller, he brings up a unit selector by clicking on the name of the unit (Q7 @ 21:15). You can scroll through the list once it is open.

I also watched the latest videos from Writing Bull.

He comes across a barbarian Great Prophet (WB9 @ 19:50). He captures it (WB9 @ 26:47) and hovers over the unit name (WB9 @ 26:53). He hovers over the founding button (WB11 @ 1:08) and then could not found a religion while at a holy district (WB11 @ 22:08) because he had not founded a pantheon yet.

This was the first time I had seen the Score tab of the victory screens. He showed in both the normal (WB9 @ 24:36) and expanded view (WB9 @ 24:50).

He shows that you can click a spot on the minimap to move the camera to it (WB10 @ 4:33).

He gets a don't settle near me warning from Monte (WB10 @ 21:16).

If you look at the city-state menu, you can see a few things. The status icons like used for players can be seen next to city states that like you or are at war with you (WB10 @ 17:40). Also, the Suzerain column shows the highest number of envoys someone has with them (Q7 @ 22:42) if it is higher than the 3 minimum. If you have the most, your total is in white and the Suzerain has changed color to green.

Some additional great people:

Haji Huud - Great Prophet (Renaissance) [WB11 @ 7:47, German version]
Aryabhata - Great Scientist (Classic) [WB11 @ 7:47, German version]
Christine de Pizan - Great Writer (Medieval) [WB11 @ 7:42, German version] - Based on Wikipedia, the works would be The Book of the City of Ladies and The Treasure of the City of Ladies
Madhva Achahya - Great Prophet (Renaissance) [M9 @ 21:15]
Bodhidharma - Great Prophet [M9 @ 21:25]

As long as they stay away from "big names" and don't simply scale bonuses, for example one gives +5 faith and one +10, so you can't say that one objectively prophet is better than another, I think they will be okay.
Although even with scaling it could work, just make sure both prophets are from the same religion.

at 0:44 in the Germany Video we see an (unique) industrial district. Are all three buildings in it already identified? Nuclear Power Plant, factory and sawmill? I guess the metal stuff left of the factory (I don't know the english word for it) belongs to the factor, right?

The metal tubes, etc. seems to be part of the factory. They were in a screenshot that AriochIV already has (http://well-of-souls.com/civ/civ6_cities.html#districts). It is a workshop not a sawmill (lumber mills are improvements not buildings). The unique elements seem to be the other buildings around the edges of that district.

Ah, thanks. I just saw the timber planks and got carried to saw mill without thinking about it ;)

Did we see something like this previously?

- Religion War bonus
- difficulty bonus

Wars of Religion looks like a policy card.

Difficulty bonus to military looks like a bad idea. I hope it affects low levels only (as I don't plan to play them) and no penalties for high difficulty levels. Having different military strength for the same unit don't look right.

I understand it's subjective, but for me that's the area AI bonuses shouldn't touch.

So in the expanded score victory tab the list of sources of points seems to read :
Alignments (?? ausrichtungen)
Territory (reich)
Great People
Religion
Technology
Wonder
Trade
Plundering

and interestingly there are also "eigenes punktesystem 1" and "eigenes punktesystem 2" seems to translate in "own point system" which I guess means it's open to be moded

I wonder what alignments mean (or ausnchtungen).

I think it is explained that the translation is not done with care so far in one of Writing Bull's earlier videos. I would not fixate too much on "Ausrichtungen" since it doesn't make too much sense to me. It may mean points form diplomacy or city states, it may also mean points from something similar to ideology (but that would be too early, right?). Or it means that you get points via your government/policies.
I will have to check the video if he explains it in words somewhere.

EDIT: does anyone have the exact time for the victory screen?

And another thing: the sea combat with the u-boat in the germany video looks great. Did we see sea combat before? Didn't it look more cartoonish?
