It is with great sadness that the tribesmen bury our founding fathers Romulus and Remus who died in a freak accident involving a whole lot of stones flying at their heads after they vehemently opposed a war against our rivals. They both had led long and happy lives, and their memory shall forever live on.
...
After that minute of silence was over men immediately took to their clubs to go have a nice talk with our northern neighbors about who is gonna own this land.
Alas, since their village itself seemed to be too heavily defended our warriors instead opted to make camp in the surrounding hills, picking off and ambushing men and women who would gather and hunt for food there.
Not soon after our raids began the people who stayed at home noticed that some of our enemies were hiding in Rome's vicinity as well, and immediately sent out a group of warriors to track them down. Once they saw we were coming after them they ran away, and the hunt was on, going for days and taking our men to another sea. There they met a group of fishermen who didn't seem to hail from the same tribe as the one we are fighting, so our men let them go and continued the pursuit after a short break.
We also made huge progress in refining our hunting techniques and weapons, which will prove effective against both animals and humans.
Unfortunately our enemies don't seem to be in the mood for letting us bring these new tools to bear against them, and sent out almost their entire village to kill our men hiding in the hills. While our warriors had a height advantage and fought bravely, in the end they succumbed to pure numbers, and now our rivals are not only free to harvest the bounties of their lands again but also possess a clear path leading directly to our homes.
Naturally our people isn't exactly thrilled about this, and many have taken to mysticism in the hopes that a supernatural power may help us, or we can at least talk to the spirits of our now dead founders.
Anyone got an idea on what to do apart from running around in circles while screaming like a little girl?

There's also the question on what to direct our research efforts on: Agriculture to build workers and uncover some plant resources, Shamanism for happiness, Fishing for the sea or Husbandry to uncover some animal resources?
For the record, we can now also build Research, which only converts 50% of Production though. We can only ever have two hunters at the same time, so regarding city production we basically can choose between Research and Warriors.
