The United States of America continued with the expansionist policies towards the belief that the great democratic nation of the western hemisphere would eventually stretch from shining sea to shining sea. Eventually the lead elements of the 82nd US Cavlary reached the Pacific Ocean in Oregon Territory and claimed it for all time for the Union. The nation no spanned a continent.

Meanwhile the Spainish Empire ended close to 300 years of colonial rule in Central and South America and created four Vice Royalities that would be independent in all but name. Immediatley the Mexican Vice Royalty suffered catastrophic failure as the gold rich province of California declared its independence quickly followed by Mormon Deseret and the cattle ranchers of Texas.
Within a month of the decleration of dominion signed in Lima the Republic of Parguay has invaded the Vice Royality of Peru. La Plata quickly followed suit and was suspended from the Spainish Commonwealth as a result, causing the people around Montivedeo to rebel in favour of the Spainish crown and not the government in Beunos Aires. Meanwhile cut off from resupply the Southern Region Peruvian General declares independence and the Republic of Chilie a military dictatorship which has made quick relations with the Parguayians and La Platans.
In Colombia, Mexico, northern Peru and even Portugese Brazil a large Republican following stoked by private American companies in the United States, Republic of Texas and Republic of California. This has started a civil war for sure and it is unsure if the Vice Royalities needed help from their motherland to stay afloat will be able to continue to exist.

Sensing Spainish weakness the American colonists in Florida overthrew the provincial government and declared itself a Republic of Florida. Within two months they entered negotiations with Washington DC and by the end of four months Florida was admitted to the Union as a US State. Spain could only sit back and look and the next move is up to Madrid. This also leads to riots in Madrid about the immense loss of empire and prestige faced by the Spainish Empire and culminates in the public lynching of Chancellor Juan de Caprio, cousin to the King and Minister for Empire.

At the start of the year the two German powers Prussia and Austria stood opposed against each other. When the protestant duchies of Mecklenburg and Hamburg-Nassau elected by plebescites to join the North German Prussian led Confederation and enter a political union with Berlin the German Catholic Alliance of Bavaria-Wruttemburg, Saxony and Austria attacked Prussia. Yet Prussia was waiting even hoping for this attack as they had a trick up their sleve.
Opening the war from the Rhur district the Prussian main army led by General von Multz attacked Western Bavaria and took the important trade city of Stuttgart. Meanwhile the main Austrian trust towards began to cut off the Prussian manevoure into Austria. As both armies seemed to be racing towards each others repesctive capital cities the Austrian army looks also in postion to cut the Prussians off deep in Austrian territory. A disaster waiting to happen to the schwerpunkt.
Meanwhile the Duchy of Brunswick has publicly declared itself neutral in this affair and points out its treaty of protection with Britain.

Several colonies have been created in Africa this turn. Spain being to most busy nation in this region by invading and occupying the Kingdom of Morrocco without much resistance

Oman and the Dutch both expanded their colonies and France and the Dutch both started colonizing the region around the Congo River. A fun time for all in Africa.
The Steppes
The nomadic stannic people of the Steppes in Central Asia were invaded by Russia, China, Afghtanistan and Persia this year. Needless to say charismatic tribal leaders rose to power and created 4 strong stannic kingdoms to war of the invaders. How long they can hold out is unknown of it they will be successful in their defence? However the weakness is well known and most modern analysts predict it will be a matter of time

Deccan was first to feel the wrath and lasted five days before surrendering to the guns of the redcoats. Then came the invasions of Gurajat and Rajastan. Meanwhile the Kingdom of Afghanistan and the Persian Empire attack from the west and into the Indian principalities there and the Chinese Emperor decides to end the Nepalese affront of independence to the Middle Kingdom and invades Nepal. By the end of the year the native powers are hurting and the colonial break up of India is only a matter of time.

Verita’s mother then fell backwards, lifeless. Verita, in his years, had learned many ways to tell if a person was truly dead, but he did not need to check his mother’s heartbeat to know that she had left the earth.
He sighed. Her death was misfortune. She had lived just long enough to see him released from prison, but not long enough to see him succeed at his life’s work. For indeed, he would succeed.
There had been dark times, when he had sat alone in his cell, thinking that his cause was hopeless, thinking that, with the fall of Napoleon, the last man who could save the world had been defeated.
But then, Verita had been freed, and he quickly realized he could do as much as Napoleon, if not more.
When Verita had been released from prison, he had discovered to his amazement that his connections in the Italian court had remained untarnished though the years, so much so, that, at times, Verita wondered if it was 1792, again.
It had not taken long for Verita’s influence to seep to the throne. He had killed the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. And he had replaced that nation with the Kingdom of Italy, instead. The New Rome Society had been reestablished, and its members worked across greater Italia, to bring unity to the separate nations, under the Neapolitan throne.
That was what he had already accomplished.
As Verita turned from the lifeless room, home to only the dead, he realized that what was past, was past. 1792 had been a missed opportunity, nothing more. He might be older now, but he was not defeated.
He knew what his life’s work was. Twenty-three years of prison was not the sum of a life.
Verita knew he would make Rome rise again.
