Drive 4 25 is back
No - because the fabric represents less then 1% of the price. It would be stupid to charge 30,30$ instead of just 30$.
NoObesity is worse than smoking, the government should fight it by all means necessary. Higher taxation (special taxes on fat food, soft drinks, sweets etc.), higher insurance, special price categories for fat people when justified (two-seat rule in planes, trains, buses, theatres...) and so forth. Their life must be made so miserable that it makes them to do something about their weight.
Yikes! Sorry, misread on my part. I scanned it quickly and saw "tax" on there, which made me think government.
This solution does not take into consideration the fact that not all obesity is the result of voluntary lifestyle choices. Genetics, glandular disorders, physical disability etc all can cause obesity in perfectly healthy and productive citizens. It is unfair and mean-spirited to paint all large people with so broad a brush, and to discriminate against them, err, indiscriminately.
well, it's a private company, trying to make profit.
only white people have to pay for sun creme. is that racist?
I was replying to Winner's suggestion that the government should mandate higher tax rates etc. for the obese. He said "their life must be made so miserable that...." etc etc. I disagree with that.
It is vaguely equivalent to taxing/penalizing white people because of the drain on the economy caused by their excessive need for sun lotion.![]()
http://www.ivillage.co.uk/beauty/promotions/articles/0 said:The average bra size worn in the UK is a 36C, but Bravissimo, which specialises in bras, swimwear and clothing for bigger boobed women, estimates that the true average size is likely to be nearer a 34DD or E. Their research shows two thirds of women are wearing a bra that is both a back size too big and too small in the cup, and that 6 out of 10 women wearing an 'average' C cup should be at least a D cup.
Precisely the kind of knee-jerk reaction the protesters were after...
Dude, it's called a broFat people shouldn't have to pay more for bras, but they should be mandated to wear them.
and no thanks, dudes aren't support to be wearing bras.
Some could use the support
In my defense, companies do not tax people, only governments do. Yes, I just quickly scanned the article...very quickly...but if you just hear the word tax, do you think of your government or do you think of the local hardware store?
Absolutely NOT!!!![]()
