First Graders. Besides, it was originally 6, 4's much better. Also, isn't it okay to exaggerate?

No, because you're stretching the truth that you're wasting some tangible amount of time which will adversely affect the reader when you're really not.

I don't understand what your saying...

Doesn't matter though. I never told you you had to read my signature. :p

Besides, you seem really pissed about something so small...

Mark Levin said this on the radio less than a minute ago. I love this man.

No, everything is for srsly.

Yeah, Internet : serious business.

Makes me remember I should update my sig.
And you know what ? Head over to forum games, there's a cool game run by Niklas and LightFang that's about to start.

Happy Birthday Shakespeare!

Mine is from a letter from 4 retired judge advocates general to Pat Leahy in 2007 condemning waterboarding. The full paragraph reads:

The Rule of Law is fundamental to our existence as a civilized nation. The Rule of Law is not a goal which we merely aspire to achieve; it is the floor below which we must not sink. For the Rule of Law to function effectively, however, it must provide actual rules that can be followed. In this instance, the relevant rule - the law - has long been clear: Waterboarding detainees amounts to illegal torture in all circumstances. To suggest otherwise - or even to give credence to such a suggestion - represents both an affront to the law and to the core values of our nation.

The whole letter can be found here: http://thinkprogress.org/jag-letter-waterboarding/

Wow the last line of my sig still holds true, despite being an exaggeration. SEVERAL DAYS OF SUBOPTIMAL SLEEP would be more correct.

Isn't Phlegmak's sig not allowed according to forum rules?

In my sig is a shoutout to the forum game I'm co-running with Niklas and a Diplomacy game!

Thoughts? It's from 1984, a book that we're reading in school now. I'm not sure on the exact wording, I posted this from memory.
Orwell quotes: they seem overdone?

No-one should quote Orwell, ever. He single-handedly ruined debate (well, I say single-handedly, but the Internet made it a widespread problem) by introducing words and phrases like 'Big Brother', 'thoughtcrime', 'doubleplusgood' and 'four legs good, two legs bad'.

George Orwell is the Worst Person.

Objective considerations of contemporary phenomena compel the conclusion that success or failure in competitive activities exhibits no tendency to be commensurate with innate capacity, but that a considerable element of the unpredictable must invariably be taken into account.

Keep the Catharsis quote. Catharsis is a huge hit and people besides you and me need to understand this.
