As a fellow American, I think you have every right to provide people ample opportunity to properly discern your opinions.

Well if you're proud to be a bigot bully for you *golf clap*

Changed quote.

I added the quote by Ayn Rand (the poster) because I felt it was that worthy.
And this was after I showed him this video:

Link to video.
If you are short on time skip ahead to ~1:30. The moment when he starts to go postal is 3:18.
Apparently calling someone a pinhead and yelling at them like Satan's nightmare is a good and rational argument.

The girl was an IDIOT! I would have yelled at her too!

And, not because of her opinions either, but because she had NO BACKING FOR THEM! Her tactic was "Ramble on and ignore Glenn Beck's logical arguments." I would have done the same thing Beck did.

Glenn Beck's argument seemed to be "rich people of the world come to the US". Did he cover normal people?

Point me to the part in the 'Logical Debate Handbook' where calling your opponent a pinhead and then go either off the deep end or postal at your opponent is good debate skills?
Yes, she could have phrased her questions a bit better, but Beck was being quite condescending treating her like an ignorant child. I mean, when she pressed him for what he would do to fix the system, he went postal on her. Most people agree our current health care system is going to implode on itself. How we fix it is the debate.

EDIT: Becks only 'arguments' was he never gets sick, rich people come, and that you get emergency treatment if you need it. The women wasn't talking about only emergency treatment, but rather full treatment.

I heard that myself. It wasn't a debate, it was an overpaid motormouth yelling abuse at a woman because she dared to challenge his preconceived ideas.

Which apparently is a good, rational argument acording to Ayn Rand.

I added a Reagan quote that I like. First quote is referring to me, by the way.

you catgirls make me sick

Typical warmonger.

"Those who would trade our freedom for the soup kitchen of the welfare state claim to have a utopian solution of peace without victory. They call their policy "accomodation". They say if we only avoid confrontation with our enemy, he'll forget his evil ways and learn to love us. All who oppose them are indicted as warmongers."

Also Reagan, from the same speech.

700th post! [party]

Must I quote Voltaire again? Also, how is domestic welfare related to foreign military policy? Oh, and I'm sure confronting the Soviet Union indirectly in Afghanistan ended well, right?

Your theory makes as much sense as saying the US shouldn't have fought in World War II because they lost Wake Island.

Also, the Soviets stalemated in Afghanistan, having nearly lost the war.

Also also, domestic welfare drains money needed for foreign military actions.

Vietnam+Great Society=The 70's recession. Any questions?
