Hernando overlooked his small capitol of Austin from his office, quietly musing to himself over the day's events. He turned around abruptly, striding over to a map of the North American continent that lied on his desk. There was an assortment of multicolored pins embedded in the map. They marked prime colonization lands in the Dictator's opinion. Most were along a coast of some sort, while others resided in the heart of Mexico. Hernando was contemplating a few pins in Louisiana when without warning, an adviser burst through the oaken double doors. "Sir! Baja California has is under out control!" The adviser burst out, interrupting the dictator's contemplations. "Really now?" Hernando raised an eyebrow, x-raying the adviser. "Yes sir, the natives surrendered to us this morning, we are sending provisions there now." The adviser explained, out a breath. "That is, excellent news." Hernando replied evenly, not giving away a thing to this young lieutenant. "Sir? Are you alright?" Hernando gritted his teeth as the child spoke, eyes flashing. "Yes, I am
quite 'alright'." The dictator replied, glaring at the adviser. The lieutenant gulped, choosing his next words carefully. "Then may I ask where we are to send out next group?" He inquired, eyes betraying fear. "Louisiana." Came the one word reply from the dictator, back now turned to face his city. "But sir, isn't that too close to-" "Do NOT question me." Hernando whirled around, tone thunderous. "I know exactly how close it is, do you take me a fool Mister Stephens?" "N-no sir, I was simply-" "Excuses!" Hernando was sneering at the poor lad now. "You will send all of them to Louisiana without question. Do you understand Stephens?" "Ye-yes sir, ri-right way sir." Stephens stuttered hurriedly, hastily leaving the room. Hernando watched the man go with cat-like eyes. Ignorant fool.
