jail Gone 3 the Celt . He is really starting to annoy me with voting for people, and not really giving a good reason (think of this vote like a Casus belli).
Takhisis' answer fits with what I've heard, though I'm very interested to hear why he picked ATPG as his target last night, and why he felt the need to share this in public, when he could quite easily have answered the question in private as I had asked.
Meanwhile, Red Spy is one of several low-lying players who need more attention, and his unbolded vote today has now got mine.
There was more of a sense of worry for the citizens today, despite any guesses at how far they'd come so far. There were rumors that Takhisis was unaccounted for and up to no good at night. While there were a couple other suspects put in the limelight by several citizens, many didn't seem to have a reason to pursue anyone else and watched. It was a close call, but citizens calling for Takhisis to be taken care of made their influence clear.
The man complained they couldn't keep him cooped up forever, but that didn't stop some rabble rousers from quickly angering the mob. They weren't looking to send him to jail - the crowd surged forward, ignoring the cops and authorities, with several striking at their victim. Finally emergency personnel pushed their way through, but Takhisis had suffered several injuries.
Spoiler:
Takhisis was hospitalized

Much of the rest of the day saw a large group of citizens focus their efforts to try and free TheLastDays by obtaining a special pardon. However, the movement fell short as not enough citizens were willing to stand up for the cause. Yet things weren't over, as the activists, disappointed in this failure, were making clear their anger with Springfield law enforcement.
"You're treating us like half of our citizens are criminals."
"You're not even keeping the prisons safe in the first place!"
Suck, suck.
"You can't hold people indefinitely without legitimate charges"
"It's not a crime to recycle, kids"
Suck, suck.
"How do we even know your investigations are accurate?"
"You need to be keeping the town safe from external threats."
Suck, suck - wait, what was that?
A wave of shock spread out from a point in the middle of the crowd, as people began to silence themselves and stare and the people next to them followed suit.
Once again, there was a baby holding a handgun.
Maggie Simpson pulled the trigger, and...
Click.
"Maybe it's out of ammo!" someone proclaimed.
Then one more pull let the shot burst through the silence and hit bestrfcplayer in the shoulder. This time, someone quickly took ahold of the old gun but found it was completely empty now.
Spoiler:
Lou (bestrfcplayer) has been hospitalized!

Spoilertallies :
The results in the writeup are accurate. The votes cast are below:
We couldnt get 13 people to agree to release an innocent man.
This is why I hate being townie. Why I dropped from the forums. Why I am not going to bother being supertownie anymore.
EDIT
No, that's not even gonna be enough. Let me continue:
I joined this game so that it could run. So that these hosts could get a chance to host their game. I was retired from here because of things. I was not enthusiastic about playing and I have other more important games I'm involved in or hosting (important from my perspective).
I log in once a day, if that. But I do spend 5 seconds thinking about my vote before I do it.
And then I do it.
Could others please put more effort into it than I am? Because I'm doing the bare minimum to still call myself a townie, and I'm still doing more than several folks.
I AM going to randomly lynch one of yall tomorrow if participation doesn't pick up. I'll use my special one-time mayoral lynch power on some random lurker.
I don't care if you flinch. Flinch and you'll live. Don't flinch, and you die.
