How does the road building work? I haven’t seen it in any of the videos I’ve watchedMerchants are also consumed when building a road. You can only perform one action with these units.
And similarly, Missionaries also disappear when the use their second ability (healing).
It stretches from the city that the merchant was activated in to your nearest city. Your nearest city isn't necessarily connected to you capital with a road (it could be a water connection). How does the road building work? I haven’t seen it in any of the videos on watched
I have no clue. Someone said in a Q&A that it also consumes the trader: it‘s either a trade route or a road. I guess it works similar to the trade route: move the unit into a foreign city, use the ability, and the road to the nearest city is established. But I haven‘t seen proof. How does the road building work? I haven’t seen it in any of the videos on watched
I think there might be more stuff in those video being possible to catch, but the low res doesn't help at all, anyways, can anyone who knows Chinese could confirm these above?
Weird that it would be Indigenous Australians with a South American character modelCan confirm that you get all three right.
The first one is Bulgars (保加尔人, so Bulgars instead of Bulgarians) with Tarnovo, the second one is Arrerntes with Alice Springs, and the third one is Byzantines with Constantinople.
Ok, I guess this is the frontier to get more info, BiliBili videos... No I don't pretend to get an account there, so no better quality in the photage, but there's still some things readable enough that Google Translator can pick up (not that it's accurate, but a good indication)
This here may be Bulgarians with... Tarnovo as settlement I think?

This other one is I believe the Arrernte (an Aussie IP I catched before), or at least should be since it's using Alice Springs as settlement

And a look on Constantinople

If you start in the Modern Age, it would be a single age gameIn a (civ 5) Live Stream, Marbozir just said that he could not play single-age games in Antiquity or Exploration. He can start in any age, but the ending would always be at the end of Modern. Would be good to know it this option is just missing in the press build, or whether this (often-alluded to) feature was actually cut.
Yes, this is an important question for me!In a (civ 5) Live Stream, Marbozir just said that he could not play single-age games in Antiquity or Exploration. That is true for the older games as well though. It wouldn't justify how they emphasized the feature, which I would consider to have been misleading if only Exploration or only Antiquity games aren't possible. If you start in the Modern Age, it would be a single age game
