Snakes on a Plane

I was in the movie store last night and saw the movie "Snakes On A Train" (yes, a train). According to Wiki, someone was trying to capitalize on the "Snakes On A Plane" hype, and released direct-to-DVD a "Snakes On A Train" movie to beat the release of the real one. :hammer2:

Well, it's obviously cheaply made and not worth seeing if it went straight to DVD. :p

In the Boston Globe, there was an article about it, and there were pictures of two fan-made posters of parody movies: "Bears on a Submarine" and "Piranhas on an Escalator."

I wouldn't go that far, many straight to DVD films (especially the disaster genre) are downright hilarious. Unintentionally mind you, but still.

I SAW IT!

(un)Wholesome cheezy fun!

Perhaps not the best motion picture ever made, but a solid corny b-movie.

Perfection reccomends!

The dude abides!

Pardon my stupidity, but shouldn't it be "Snakes IN a plane"? The IN versus ON thingy always bothered me. Sometimes is difficult to elucidate when you have to use IN and when you have to use ON.

Snakes onboard a plane.

Main Entry: on-board1
Part of Speech: adjective
Definition: on a ship, aircraft, or other vehicle; also written onboard

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/onboard

I can't wait for the sequel, Sharks on a Bus!

ROFL. I was wondering... didn't read through the whole thread on this but when I first heard of this movie the first thing I thought was:

"Did they have the kids on the short bus name that movie?"

Seriously, this name is sad. The name alone makes me feel sorry for Samuel L. Jackson's career choice here. The idea, eh. It's ok I guess. I hope it has more to the story than just what the title indicates though. Knowing Hollywood, it doesn't.

Packed theater

Snakes chant

Rubber snakes flying everywhere

Laughing at all the bathroom scenes

The cast really made this movie. The co-captain is my favorite character, and then next would be the "is he gay?" flight attendant

IGN gave it a 3.5 out of 5...I WANT TO SEEE THIS MOVIEEEE!!!

Some of you people can't take a joke :p Samuel L. Jackson can act in whatever the hell he wants...he is Samuel L. freakin Jackson!

I watched that movie last night with a bunch of college buddies. It was a lot better than I expected but that is not exactly saying much. If it had a serious title I would have had higher expectations and would have hated it.
