SNES Called What In Europe?

Well, at the beginning SNES cartrigdes had only 1 Megabite, but as the system approached the end of it's life cycle there were more and more 3 or 4 MB games.

I bet you can store a whole library of SNES games on a 2-3 GB USB Flash Stick today ;).

oh boy, the joy of an SNES emulator and some good quality games. (+ the emulator allowing to enhance speed to unknown levels is awesome)

I know someone who has played Finfal Fantasy I on such an emulator at 400 or 800% speed

you should see him dashing around the map slaying everything in the random encounters in a couple of seconds

Surely NES cartridges held more memory than a floppy?

they must hold a similar amount, most of the famicom disk games came out on cartridges outside japan, i think the point of the fds was that floppies were much cheaper to produce, i think fds games were cheaper to buy than catridge games

From what I understand the SNES dominated Japan/USA while the megadrive was the system of choice in Europe/Australia/New Zealand etc. The last great console war before Sony dominated the market (and EA made original games)
