using admiral's map, do you think we can squeeze in a city 2 SW of site A's cow?
I looked at that, but didn't see a benefit - 2 forest plains, lots of plains. We could put moai statues there, but... I'd rather expand aggressively towards the AI and claim better sites.do you think we can squeeze in a city 2 SW of site A's cow?
I do not think Archery is important enough to bother. I do expect copper.
Well, just keep it as a backup, in case we don't have any copper...
Also, archers are better city-defenders than axemen, especially since they can get City Garrison promos.
But otherwise, the plan sounds good.
Just to confirm: Machinery Slingshot, right? That's what my tech path is.
Going to go BW -> Pottery -> Myst -> Med -> Priesthood.
)
I'll be away for another 24 hours most likely after this post too. First turnset looked good to me. I do think we need to take advantage of the forests near our city, I don't normally bother with it but is it worth grabbing Mathematics for the extra 50%? We should be able to chop rush two wonders, Machinery slingshot sounds good and maybe another wonder somewhere? If the land turns out to be pretty bad inland (so a lot of coastal cities) maybe Colussus as we'd get there early? I also agree that we got shafted in where our settler got put
I will play tonight. We will not get Math for the next bit, it's not on the tech path. I dunno about med vs poly. I would rather Med, but if the player could save before med/poly, so we could check WB after the game to see anyone building the Oracle....
e: ahh, some python dll can't be found, would have to reinstall. i will install/patch tommorow morning. it's 2am now :/
, 20% for -1 pop, 35% for +1
. 1st is +1
in cities temporarily. Normally I'd go for 3, but it isn't worth it and it's supposedly bugged.

Did you maybe stop a turn early, Splime?
Splime said:EDIT: I don't have time to check the save now, but in how many turns will we have that settler? Looks like very few.
EDIT2: But I did have enough time to create an index of the SG updates in the first post... It's even color coded!
