i have already started this i just want general feedback, i put it on this thread as well it will require a new dawn to work and RoM and my 70+ RoM Civilization pack,
I figured i'l represent each civilization realistic national sport or most favourite sport using the minor league stadium and major league stadium.

I have completed all the buttons and graphics, just have to do the XML and will upload it
This is how it will look:

AFRICAN NATIONS EXCLUDING SOUTH AFRICA
Minor League Replacement is The individual national soccer leagues
Major League replacement is AFCON

South Africa (I chose soccer because of the world cup & soccer is more watched than cricket or rugby even though the country's Ranking in the other sports is higher)
Minor League Replacement is PSL
Major League replacement is FIFA (As it is the host)


ASIAN NATIONS Excluding CHINA; Australia; New Zealand; Pakistan; India
Minor League Replacement is the regional soccer leagues
Major League replacement is the AFC

For China though because it hosted the Olympic Games in Beijing the Major League replacement will be Olympics 2008 Stadium

For New Zealand Australia Pakistan & India :
Minor League Replacement is national Cricket Board Stadiums
Major League Replacement is ICC WORLD CUP


South America
Minor League Replacement is national Soccer Leagues
Major League Replacement is CAFCON

EUROPE
Minor League replacement is the individual Soccer Leagues
Major League Replacement is UEFA

NORTH AMERICA excluding USA and Canada wEST iNDIES
Mexico - Minor League replacement is the individual soccer league
Major league replacement is

USA and Canada - Normal Standard baseball

West Indies
Minor League Replacement is West Indies Cricket Board
Major League Replacement is ICC World Cup

This is a really good idea. I'll be watching your progress.

As for bonuses, try to be creative. You can use a lot of new XML tags included in AND. I have an up-to-date folder with schema's and examples on how to use most AND XML tags here, if you haven't seen it already.

I want these buildings to create Great Celebrities, i figure dso far the xml bit of it. i changed the specialist infos for a great celebrity, aswell as adjusted in the unit infos of danceholskud mod the unique names given, any other adjustments i have to make for a great celebrity? ie python or sdk (hope not)

Hockey hmm can be covered by the icering. i'l look into it for canada. and japan im not sure whats their real famous sport , so yeah if you can provide with the info then no problem, but i only got art files for the following:

Cricket; Baseball; Soccer; and if my memory serves me right there is icerink included in this mod so yeah can use that for canada
Unfortunately i cant have 2 for it, i would like to have cricket also for SouthAfrica but i think it will make more logical sense to include the stadiums in succession like how it is so only one sport per civ. and America is known for baseball thats what i did base it on.

EDIT: For japan im thinking about sumo wrestling aswell. And for china somehting in that part especially for the minor league stadium replacement:?

I'm not positive either, but I think americans enjoy NFL more than MLB (at least I certainly do! ) The problem is the NFL season only lasts 4 or 5 months, and MLB lasts more...

(American) Football is longer than 4-5 months. There is always 1 month of hype and rumors, 1 month of draft picks, 1 month of pre-games, the 5 month season, the 1 month of the past season's highlights, winter, repeat...

Im done with the cricket component of the Unique Buildings; I also created a from Dancehols Mods for his entertainer a great Celebrity Unit In order to represent all of the great names in Football and Cricket

The effects as follows:
for the Minor League Replacements -
+10% Wealth Thingy
+5% Culture
+20% Maintenance
-10% War Weariness
Chance for Great Celebrity in City

For Major League UB replacements:
-10% Production
+30% Wealth
+15% Culture
+20% Maintenance
+2 Happy Citizens all cities on continent (The sport well the world cup atmosphere creates a regional happyness i guess in real world sense)
+2 Happy citizens all cities (same as above)
+1 Happy per 10% Culture Rate

I think people don't know the american football rules. At first sight, it can be very intimidating and hard to understand. They can't see the strategy beyond the "violence" of the game. At least is what I see here in Brazil. From the moment I learnt how the sport worked, I started to watch NFL games regularly. BTW, 49ers sucks...

Please don't call "football" soccer. Hardly anyone who actually plays football at the levels you're suggesting ever calls it "soccer". That's just used to distinguish it from American Football etc.

If there is ever a Welsh civilisation, it has to be rugby, no questions asked! Could we have South Africa as rugby, just to get someone playing it in Civland?

For South Africa im sticking with "football", as i live here and PSL is more supported than Rugby especially by most of the population even though im a cricket fan. and also my reasoning for having it "Football" instead of rugby or cricket is because of the Fifa World Cup 2010 here

The stadium i'll be using for South Africa; replacement for the Major League, Represents Fifa World Cup stadiums Its the closest i found to one of hte actual stadiums in South Africa particularly in Durban(Moses Madiba Stadium)

Yeah I know, we really do. But our main problem is our quarterbacks. Gore is a great running back, most of our receivers are good, Nedney is a great kicker, our defense is...alright, we mainly just need a good quarterback.
