Background
The Celebrity race is a new race that is generally found in the Mediterranean/Coastal Climate. They are more attractive and more talented than the other scum that call themselves a "race". They are also, Wealthy, Greedy, Self-Centered but can be generous when others are watching. Because of their talent, the theater is a thriving business. It has been said that the Celebrities have created the "Entertainment" Business, because they do not only specialize in acting, but singing and dancing as well. Now you may be thinking "Wow a species that acts and sings, This will be easy" but beware, The Celebrities will defend their thriving capitalistic, entertainment powerhouse with their lives and they do a Good job at it too. Now the typical celebrity will be between 5 1/2 feet - 6 1/2 feet and between 140 - 210 lbs. They look exactly like Humans, dress like them too. In Fact most people would say they are basically humans. The skin color is tannish -White and hair color is typically brown or blond. The two Genders include Male and Female. While both are almost Equal, the male sex is typically dominant.

@ Silver Im not Creative, So I can not really make up a whole different race, so I hope this is fine.

Starting location

eastern coast, on the mouth of the 3rd river up please.

Good to see Erik Mesoy in. :)

The head of a Jirzzarg is like this, although with smaller ears, while the body is much skinnier.

And please, assign me any starting location that you might find fit. It's not that I'm too lazy to do so myself; I just have a tendency to pick crappy spots.

I don't see how it's so hard for people to read the rules and pick existing habitats. Also, props to people who have starting locations! :goodjob:

What he said.

I'm going to be quite busy the next few days, but I promise to finish the map before next year.

but he also says in the rules that we can create habitats for out races, at the cost of not having two habitats.

You could use the Spore Creature Creator. You could mash together two existing types of creatures, which is how half the classic fantasy bestiary was invented. You could take out a pair of dice and roll randomly for stuff like "number of legs, number of eyes" and flip a coin for things like whether it has an exoskeleton or not. If at any point during this you find yourself saying "hey, it would look better this other way", that's creativity. It's not so hard.

You can create them through a project. Upon completion I'll add a new type of terrain on the map. I'm going to change the rules so that you do not lose your second habitat in the process. That way, there are no drawbacks related to this. I will also standardize the project price. It will cost you more if you plan to expand it, naturally.

Edit: deleted the original content here. I am now going to wait anxiously for this to start and have great awesome.

I'm considering joining, and I would work as a mercenary to make creatures with the Spore CC.

@ Silver: Yes that was the idea. The tunnels start underwater, then the majority of the tunnels are above water. REally makes it hard to attack that way.

Also changed habitat: Didn't realize that it was a project.

Guys, I've finished adding to the map. I have the files ready for upload, but I'm waiting one more day to see if I can shove a few more races in. In any case, you can start thinking about orders, particularly domains and spell designs.

@Neverwonagame3- Sure, what do the Chamenedes look like? The name sounds somewhat reptilian, and I could go off that, but if you have some guidelines, I'd find them very useful.

Here's a first draft of the Ogulmuks. I didn't get around to putting cross-claws on the other set of limbs yet, the limbs are supposed to have many more joints and be serpentine rather than two straight lines, the claws aren't supposed to have inner serrations like mandibles, the feet aren't lizardy enough, and a bunch of other problems, but it gets the general idea across. Oh, and the top half should be slighly more humanoid, rather than having a stupidly huge mouth as its main feature and looking half giraffe. Finally, the tail should be a good deal longer and lie down on the ground behind the Ogulmuk, but I ran into the complexity limit.

In short, NOT QUITE LIKE THIS.

Since you're making it, I'll give you license to fill in details as you like. The Chamenedes are somewhat reptilian, a bit ugly, but also have more human-like elements. They are short, to the point where an average man would correctly conclude he could take one in a fight and probably win.

Since I received a good question by PM, I'm answering it here:

lord_joakim said:
Can Conjuring then be a domain? As in, both Conjuring and Fire should be domains to summon a Fire Elemental magically, or Water and Conjuring should be used to summon a Sea Serpent.

I won't restrict races with only the Fire domain from creating a spell that mimics conjuration, since all the spells are (before upgrades) essentially equally strong. Aside from cosmetics; what is then the purpose of combining domains?

I know some of you have discovered this already, but having access to a domain makes it easy to design a spell that grants protection from other spells of that domain. Furthermore, every combination requires a unique protection spell, which needless to say requires access too all domains in said combination.

Since domains are freely available for all, designing your very own is highly recommended. Or you might want to access the same ones as your enemy to defend yourself. Sharing domains with your allies grants both spell trade and security if both can protect themselves from the shared domains. The possibilities are many. The rest is up to you - use your fantasy.

Two more tidbits:

Perfect Habitat costs now 100 prana.

If you trade spells and receive a spell of higher level than one, but have access to all the domains, you can cast it - even if you do not previously have a spell of same domain(s) at lower levels. For example, you can cast a third level Fire/Water spell without having first and second level spells of Fire/Water, as long as you have both Fire and Water domains.

I'm not accepting "Celebrities" as a race, because it sucks. Sorry, Churchill 25 - back to the draw board.

I'm not going to place Monaudians on the map until I get a relative score from you, Condor_green.

DEADLINE FOR NEW RACES IS THE END OF THIS YEAR.

Lord Iggy- Thanks, that looks good.
