Not really...except for the last tech. The last tech will be a 'reveal map' tech.

How about the first death star is the apollo program and you build the second death star as the galactic terror victory.

I don't know about the apollo program thing, but I think this Death Star idea might work. You could build the structure, the reactor, the troop quarters, the superlaser, all with different techs. I've even made a movie for it.

or make it a extreme weapon of mass destruction, like a unit that load 100 nukes and can bombard with great damage, like bombard with a strength of 100 and a rof of 10 and cost like 10000 shields.

As for the differences, I didn't mean to make anyone overly tough to beat, just have different emphasis on units, maybe perhaps the Rebel/New Republic/Galactic Alliance's capital ships would be better on defense, while the Imperials would rely on offense. That balances out
Their starfighters could also equal out that way. The Rebel/NR/GFFA fighters would be a tad more expensive than the Imperial counterparts, but would be better in attack/defense, while the Imperials could pump out normal TIEs like nothing, which gives them the advantage of numbers.
In both cases it would even out: offense v defense; ability v numbers

I edited to include most of them, but I thought it was cool how most of the NJO-era ships (plus two Hapan ships) were modeled by them, I'm going to try to look for more SW model sites....

Totally up to you guys, I can do pretty much anything that doesn't require a download, because my main computer is at home (I utilize a college comp four to five days a week) and it has no internet access at the present moment, so the only way to get things onto it is via a pair of floppy disks. Sad I know, but I've made do
