First off, Welcome to CFC, then go to my signature and look for My Productions and then look for the Vampire Civ, and look then for post # 10.
I tried that I didn't make much sence but I tried and i didn't work first off I made a folder in the mods folder then made a folder in that called assets then modules then the custom civilizations then I put the download in custom civilzations I couldn't find a modular xml loading folder so what have I still got to do or what have i done wrong???

the error that occers when starting civ is Tag: PROMOTION_LOOTING1 in info class was incorrect Current XML file is : xml\Civilizations/CIV4TraitInfos.xml
and where do i put the XML File???

There is no promotion with this module, so it has to be something with the mod you are playing.

I will uninstall civ 4 and reinstall and see if that works???

With that Copy Civ i gave you there is NO need for anything at all, except put the module in the correct spot.
But What is the correct spot???

You put all civ modules in the Custom Civilization folder provided in Copy Civ.
But where is the copy civ???
