State of Civics Poll

Revoluitionism is a must have for new Russia (i really want to try a Muslim Russia with the Blue Mosque, Katorgas, and Revolutionism for Unlimited Whipping Works), but it was mentioned many times in this thread that Revolutionsim and Totalitarism just suck (excuse me, but that's how it is). Revolutionism IS strong but it has such a diverse array of effects that there is virtually no situation when you gonna spam Lumbermills, Broadcasting Towers, generate generals and whip at the same time (unless you are 1.18 Russia lol, or Argentina that really wants these Generals), and frankly cheap Courthouses are very lurkative for a warmongering civ to consider it over Revolutionism. It's not weak, it lacks focus.

Totalitarism might be better now with nerfed (i think?) Egalitarism, but science bonus of Egalitarism is strong enough to compete with purely warmongering Totalitarism.

tl;dr "Democratic" civs are not stronger than "Tyrannical", they simply aren't nearly as situational.
Republic was nerf now and become ussles for ancien civs
It's certainly weaker than before but it's still useful for some early civs (e.g. Greece).

Revolution maybe additional exp points for espionage units and double production when building them. I admit it's hard for me to find proper buffs but I believe if that two civics get a bit better it will be very useful for giving variety in late game. ATM it's basically free market vs socdem with very little variety. Function I imagine for improved totalitarianism and revolution is as useful for underdog late game civ. Making them viable for already strong empire wouldn't be particularly useful or really realistic IMO, but giving something that helps in catching up would be very cool.
I think there's potential with this idea. Revolutionism could function in spirit like the various nationalization campaigns of Iraq, Egypt, Chile under Allende, what the US feared Guatemala would be... It'd let countries left behind by the usual suspects in Western Europe and the USA give a good shot at catching up. How to do this, mechanically, I'm not sure either.

Italy needs Republic until it becomes outdated. The food production in the core is the pits, so the switch causes famine in the most populated part of Italy. It would be good if it didn't get outdated.
Republic still good after consumerism and chemestry , but in bronze, iron age - why use food bonus from citezen (not specialist, as you don't have building in your city), instead working titles, witch now have more valuable resources (extra commerce)?

Faster tech spread? Faster construction of factories and coal plants might be appropriate too, though Central Planning already does this.
