@Cuvivien can I play as the Aryans?

They're a barbarian tribe. Of course not. There will be various Aryan-Dravidian mixed nations after the BT if you want to choose one then.

@Birdjaguar: BT (Boring Times) is a ridiculously complicated system that some sadistic NESer thought up. Essentially, the game will leap forward immensely in time, allowing for major changes to occur. For a BT update, you send fairly sketchy orders and I get to play around with what actually happens. Many NESes have a BT/IT (Interesting Times) rotation in which the mod decides at some point that a time jump is necessary to spur on the game. Normally BT updates are much shorter than the one I'm doing, but this way every nation will get on its feet during the initial BT. Except, of course, for those like Gelion who insist on playing steppe tribes when I strongly discouraged them in my initial post.

Thats why one should always read the first post
Okay I come up with somthing else. But could you still add them please?

I will try my luck with:

Nation: Persia
Ruler/Player: Achaemenid Dynastry/Gelion
Age: Early Bronze Age
Religion: Animism
Government: Despotism (Monarchy)
Income: 1
Manpower: Average
Army: 20 hundreds
Navy: 10 ships [0 if landlocked]
Education: Horrible
Infrastructure: Horrible
Confidence: Horrible
Culture: Horrible

What is BT period?

Boring Times (BT)

In between of the ITs, there are the BTs. While ITs are the shorter, yet more interesting and exciting periods of history, the BTs are the (probably) longer periods of quiet growth and expansion, slow progress and (mostly) minor wars. Unlike with IT, you don't have any direct control over what happens to your country during that time. HOWEVER, a) its development will be based to some degree on what happened in the last IT and b) you could leave something of a development plan, parts of which might be followed, at least in the beginning. Oh, and some nasty things could happen to some of your countries during the BT - know that it will only happen if I think there are good reasons for it. But if after a BT you decide that you are completely disillusioned with your nation/the way it developped, you probably should try and find another nation for yourself.

cuivienen, you rock!

Thank you.

*takes bow, curties*

@Gelion: Don't worry, there will be ravaging Mongols eventually. Persia's a fine choice.

Thanks :smug: Now I have to think of a strategy for them....

Lurker's comment:

that some sadistic NESer thought up.

Much appreciated. ;)

That is acceptable. Erin go bragh! However, I do believe you should know that the Tara sight has well documented and accepted evidence of a society dating back almost 5,000 years with bronze age artifacts being present that date along the same path as that of more convential culture centers. Although, as said, I can easily accept the terms you placed.
