Afaik it is the aftermath of a (soft/temporary?) ban on JR's show on youtube.
Hm, I am pretty sure JR signed exclusivity deal with spotify a while ago and doesn’t post to youtube at all, as part of that deal.
I’ve watched at least half a dozen JRE shows (Elon Musk, Tarantino, some others) over last 6 months and I appreciate him as a person who gives a voice and long format talk platform to those people I’d like to know more about. With Joe, however, there are few weird topics which he constantly rotates into, no matter the guest:
DMT. He seems convinced by previous guests that our entire civilisational awakening rests upon someone finding natural hallucinogens, tripping on them, in the process contacting outer civilisations and knowing hidden truths of the universe. Woohoo! Which ties in to his second favourite topic:
Aliens. He believes aliens are available for contact to anyone taking the right dose of hallucinogens. He often explains that his DMT trips are more real than reality outside DMT trips. And that he personally contacted elves and aliens in his trips. As did other people he knows. Often invites people who are interested in this topic and asks random people about that too!
Vaccines. After getting sick with covid (no vaccine) Joe started promoting ivermectin worldwide through his show (anti parasitic drug), citing some sources that it’s a cure for covid. He invited several people voicing very different ideas when it comes to vaccinations, and often voiced his own stance, which goes along this line: covid vaccine is irrelevant to a healthy person and he’d rather promote healthy living than vaccines.
Anyway, having respect to Joe as a rare and talented interviewer, I am in no bit surprised by Neil reaction. The amount of horse horsehockey about vaccines I heard on that show is immeasurable.
