Sorry to hear that you are leaving us, Kumquat, we will miss your input. I wish you could have stuck it out, but I understand. Sometimes leaving comfort zones can be difficult, as I had mostly been a builder myself, I also am still getting used to many aspects of these methods. Thanks for playing, and if you want to try some other time, I will be doing more of these, I hope. So, I guess the lineup is this:

Our situation looks pretty good. I still need to look at the save , but I think I agree with pushing ahead to Steam Power since we are this far with the research.
I still plan on making a million cities on the edges, turning them into farms and making wealth. That should provide a nice boost and prevent us from needing to cash-rush temples much.
I'm not sure I like the idea of having Sun Tzu's to be honest. First of all, there should have been a team discussion before we built it, that's one thing. Secondly, the number of shields invested in a huge wonder like that can often be better used to make units and kill the enemy faster. In other words, it usually pays off a lot better to capture rather than build these wonders. I know that at Regent level we can pretty much build any wonder we want with impunity because the AI is so awful. But we are still running against the clock here if we want a good score.
Ok, enough said on that. I'll plan on playing tonight or tomorrow, once I get a chance. More to come later...

I went ahead with Sun Tzu's because the investment was already there, and the support for all of our barracks is about 30gpt. Besides, we could always change to Leonardo's.

Sorry about the delay. Yep, it's been a couple of days, but I'm trying to fit playing in around having a vacation, so it's been tough. I should be done this afternoon. With a big empire like this, the turns take a lot longer...
Ok, I had to quit after playing about 3 and 1/2 turns due to time constraints. Tad, you should probably play and then I'll resume my normal spot in the rotation for next time, provided we haven't finished the game by then...
Summary of Turnset:
Produced one leader and made an army. I kept the Army empty so that we can fill it with Cavalry. Make sure to only put two units in the army until we get it overseas so that we can make sure we will be able to transport it.
Researched Astronomy and started work on Military Tradition. I STRONGLY advocate just finishing Mil. Trad., then researching Navigation, and then finally just shut off research. We don't need more research to finish this game, it will just hinder us. We DON'T want to get Magnetism as that will make the GLH obsolete and cost our ships +1 movement
Met Spanish and found them to be ignorant.
Switched Sun Tzu's to Leo's in anticipate of mass upgrades to cavalry.
Cash-rushed numerous improvements and settlers. Built marketplaces and courthouses in reasonable spots in the core and wealth /workers everywhere else, for the most part.
Sold some useless temples and disbanded numerous units to keep unit support costs lower. Our knights, soon to be cavs, are way too much as it is to kill the last civs. We should just produce some cavs from here on out.
Built two harbors at ports where we will load up troops, so upgrade any galleys at those spots to caravels.
Note: I put a ton of units on go-to moves that you will need to cancel, or leave if you wish...it was more convenient with a large empire.
Ok, good luck, Tad, and I hope you continue to fill in our lands with settlers and get a fleet of caravels for transportations. Let's mop this thing up...
Oh, one more thing. I advocate not building any more wonders expect the Heroic Epic and possibly Magellans.
Pre-flight Check:
Notice we researched Astronomy without finishing Mil Tradition yet. Kinda strange... and once we get Mil Trad and an army, we can build the Military Academy, which is invaluable.
Also, we have a number of units --horseman, archers, etc.-- that could be upgraded and used, but are just sitting in useless MP or guard duty. We should not be having so many troops garrisoned in random, useless places around the map.
We are in a GA, and I can tell that there has not been much MM for exact shield production.
Many corrupt towns are building inprovements when they should just be building wealth.
We have tons of clowns--make them into taxmen or scientist for something useful.
Change tons of builds around, Build courthouses and marketplaces in relatively corrupt free locations to maximize the infrastructure growth from the GA. Change corrupt town builds to a mix of settlers, workers, aqueducts and wealth, with a few temples and harbors for growth.
Were paying way too much in unit support and have too many troops that arent needed. Im going to disband all artillery and pikes, as well as some MDI. We have enough knights, and once we get cavs, well still thoroughly whip the AI.
I dont want to research paste Navigation and Mil Tradition. It would be useless. Better to store up cash for rushing units and improvements. We should NOT research Magnetism because that would make the GLH obsolete and our ships would move slower.
Why do we have a stack of 18!!! Workers near Tours? This is wasteful.

Im not going to record battles for the rest of this turn-log, its too tedious at this point.
Burned one more English city and moved troops into position for the final blows.
Im setting up two gathering spots for our troops for transport to the other landmasses. It should be pretty obvious where  The spots are near The Wave in the extreme southeast and near Tads Homeland Security in the extreme west.
Provided we adequately fill in our home continent, we will be very near to the domination limit even without further attacks
Ive continued to disband numerous units, even vet MDI because we will never need them. With our knight forces, we are already paying too much in unit support compared to our needs.
