KA, have you thought about including any of Supa's monsters to wreak havoc and pose an early threat to the various civs? I would only put one of each preplaced on the map. Just a thought...
 
I know you have the Space Race victory for the Authorities, but i thought you could have one for the Good Guys, to become the "Offical Protector of the City".

Things like "Rescuing the Mayor's Daughter", "Thwarting Assassination Attempt", "Helping Old Lady Across The Street"...
 
Hello Everyone :wavey:

Now that EFZI2 has been released I am concentrating more of my spare time on this (although I have a strange affliction which has forced me to mod an Escape From Medieval Zombie Island scenario).

Anyhoo, here is the resource list together with a screenie of the map I plan to use. The city will of course be immediately recognisable but its name is New Amsterdam so expect a few ahistorical/alternate-reality twists.

Resources Key: S = strategic. B = Bonus. L = Luxury - remember luxuries can be used as requirements for units and or improvements/wonders -that's how I plan to use 'em anyway.

"NAPD" - love it. This should be great. And I'd say this even if I hadn't made units to fit - you have to have an evil Asian mage in Chinatown. It's just compulsory.

Klaus and Valentin Vlas - I assume you will be able to decipher their super powers from their general appearance ;)
 
If you're going to have the "evil Asian mage" on the villians' side, also include the Shaolin Monk unit as the obligatory bulletproof warrior kung-fu monk on the heroes' side. Or perhaps make the "evil mage" a neutral unit?

Speaking of which, someone should make a Bruce Lee unit sometime. :D
 
Wow I'm honored! If you change to color of the roads to a lighter grey (the one I use in my small roads), then it would probably look slightly better though. ;)
 
Hi YP. I've been dying to use your terrain in a scenario ever since you posted it. It wasn't quite right for EFZI2 but it's ideal for this one - nice and bright and clean and I love all the little details in it.

I will try a different colour out and see how it looks. Those roads (err. SUPER Highways) are actually PLAINS terrain I nicked from the Battle For New York scenario. I still need to cater for roads somehow:

(a) I may dispense with them altogether and rely on Helipad improvements and Colonies for hooking up resources
or (b) use an invisible road graphic
or (c) use the railroad pcx as roads pcx and call it The Monorail.

Just a small thing I noticed about the terrain: You should fix the territory borders so that they don't follow the line of some invisible hills. :) It's very easy to do though.

Wow! These look great.

It's a shame that you can't give a unit different Victory animations depending on what it's defeated. Because if you could do that, you could make them say "Shocking!" upon defeating the third guy there.
 
Alas the civ engine lets us down again Plotinus. I do have a tech called Super Rhetoric which gives the unit a small defensive bombard. The idea being they shoot off a quick quip that demoralises their opponent enough to reduce their fighting ability. Of course it would be nice if that could be opponent specific too.
