SuperCiv mod: addition of different civilizations

jspanglet - a rar is a highly compressed file, similar to a .zip file only even more compressed. You need a special program to "unrar" it, I suggest Winrar.

Lankou - I got bored of waiting for you to merge the 50 Leader mod with Superciv, so I went ahead and did it myself, Hitler and Franco included. ooo.

sorry if other people find it long but, i just enjoy one game before merging mods again... (playing the celt, normal map, continents, aiming domination or conquest, kicked cherokee, Zulu, almost Rome, and I'm a great friend of the Japanese...Napoleon and Stephan Dusan are here too...)

(Is it because i'm not that good in english, or FullyCompletely's post is a little "rude"?)
 
Ok boys and girls (especially girls)

I just had a domination victory (see below), so i'm going to work on Superciv by now

priority:
updates (top of the head: scotland, magyar, a few flavor things for Canada)
Mixing (Yariks and Civarmy versions of Israel, will take UU, new leader and artwork from civarmy)
Changes (top of the head: LH for scotland, Bulgaria, even the current one are good, they are confusing, and quebec)
adding (civ missing, the more advanced one first, leaders mod)

then:
doing some more pack (top of the head):
US States
Balkans
updating Bretagne and Celts (1 new leaders each, definitely nominoë for Bretagne, need help on Celt Thread to choose)
making some stats (which traits are the most used? How many girls?...some futile things)
play another game, i still doesn't have win a conquest

Below are some proof that celts are the best

wow, was going to ask that the Axies and Allies be added for the ability to play a WWII sim, but not adding hitler or mussolini to it would drop the immersion factor to nil. sigh.
 
After reading through this thread again, and feeling a little bad bout the tone of my last post , I would like to offer a suggestion!!!
Myself, when I play C4, its all about Immersion! I want to recreat history, or even play an alternate version of it.. that being said I would really like to see a Controversial Leaders mod made and added to this (a great mod already)
Some suggestion on some of the leaders i would like to play as/against.
Yasser Arafat - Palastine
Hitler - WW2 Germany
Benito Mussolini - WW2 Germany
winston churchill- WW2 England
More axies-allies!!
G.W. Bush - lol come on just to see him ask for oil would be worth it!
2nd Arab leader- Saladin is lonely :)

These are just a few of the ones of the top of my head. I can TOTALLY understand the thread creator for his reasons of not wanting some of the Civ Leaders, I just hate political correctness lol

ok i was updating croatia and magyar, and i want to thank Anima Croatorum publicly.

Anima manages to create a text files with all the changes in his mod. that really helps me for updating civs

Besides that, he has a really good idea: he put all the sound and art files in a "separate" folder (and wrote good links)

if you want your civs to be updated as soon as possible, i advice you to create a file like the ones Anima Croatorum have created.

Agree, completely classless. Something I would not expect on this forum, esp. about someone that has given so much to the community as a whole.

Waiting all that patiently for 1.05 to come out. Actually, I have been working on a Mega Mod with many other Mods; this is the last to merge into it.

I'm interested in one thing: Is there a possible problem with duplicate city names. (IE. Paris, France - Paris, Texas) do duplicate entries cause errors? It might be better if city variables also used national coding.

IE. not:
TXT_KEY_CITY_NAME_PARIS but TXT_KEY_CITY_NAME_TEXAS_PARIS for Paris, Texas

As number of civs increases, there is bound to be duplicate name conflicts.
 
well, if a player created Paris (for the French), and another one try to create Paris (Texas), even if we make the TXT_KEY thing, it wont take the name of Paris, it will just take the next one on the list....
