Sweden's issues: White bandages are racist.

Did you forget to read the OP? That is actually the topic of discussion here. it is about the complete absence of other choices of "plaster" in "skin-tone" for many people.

And here in the US, that is even true for the vast majority of people. In this country, Johnson & Johnson enjoys a near monopoly on "plasters", so we are relegated to a single choice of "skin tone".

Yeah I read the OP, it didn't mention Johnson and Johnson. Given that it's about Sweden, I don't see what the relevance is of what company has the monopoly in the US. They certainly don't have the monopoly in the UK. The biggest brand here would be Elastoplast which is apparently owned by Beiersdorf, bought from Smith & Nephew in 1992. Maybe you know more about the monopoly on plasters in Sweden, but in the absence of any information either way I see no reason to assume it's Johnson and Johnson just because it is in your country. Oh and "plaster" is what we call them here, it's not some word I've made up to annoy you (it would be a bit weird if we called them "band aids" wouldn't it, given that that's a brand name that isn't a particularly big seller here). In fact the OP used the term several times itself. Did you forget to read the OP?
