Switch to Civ4 Difficulty Levels?

It's mixed, I'm pro having Civ 2 titles, but I'm also pro-having less dieties making myself of even higher postcount status.

I'd be in favor of completely revamping the system. Let's say that titles are now only allowed at 50 posts. Since most users will change their title immediately, we may as well condense the ranks. so it would look something like:

Settler (Minimum Posts: 0)
Chieftain (Minimum Posts: 5)
Warlord (Minimum Posts: 10)
Noble (Minimum Posts: 25)
Prince (Minimum Posts: 40)
Monarch (Minimum Posts: 50)
Emperor (Minimum Posts: 100)
Immortal (Minimum Posts: 1000)
Deity (Minimum Posts: 2500)
Sid (Minimum Posts: 5000)

That way we actually see a level other than chieftain/settler. Any more ranks is useless, 95% of posters change them almost immediately anyway, might as well move them to a procedure where people can see them.

Oh, and custom titles shouldn't require a postcount either, as some people have suggested. It would encourage more spamming, and they don't take up server space like avatars.

I voted abstain. I have a custom title, so it isn't important to me what the default ones are.

Is there any way a new member can choose their favorite version of Civ and the default titles match that choice. I tried C4, got bored, and have gone back to C3.

Come on, as the board moves into the age of Civ4, we should keep some of our Civ3-ness.
On the other hand, I'd love to see the minima for Civ3 titles go up.

But we should add a final rank that you get with like 25,000 posts == Thunderfall.
