SysNES 1: A Murky Pool of Light

Heh, I could certainly pass on the system to you (or rather the actually properly functional entirely spreadsheet based version I made for Kal) if you do want to run it ;).

Always nice to see those pretty pretty planets, my only annoyence with using them would be the incessant feeling I need to update the ships and all other supporting graphics as well :D.

Oh, on that note I'm getting a laptop around April. Hopefully I can get things rolling again.

Hello. I'm going to steal Disenfrancised's thunder just a little, but since ya'll liked this game so much, I think he'd approve. Plus [the below] was my own work anyway (to a capacity). This does give away Terebellum and Ascella, but I figure you might not get to see them in play and, if you do, the respective parties won't mind too much. Here were some things in the pipes, until it was postponed indefinitely. Consider it a teaser to whet your appetites:

Eh, Kal, I wasn't really impressed with your first attempt. Maybe if you can tighten it up and bring it up to dis' standard of quality, but if not, I'd rather have dis/Symph continue the project.

I never got started

"I can't read the font?" = "I can't read?"

You decide.

My American boyfriend tried to read it too and said "The Hofta Tuft". We both know it is wrong. Whats wrong with that font?

I have some matters to attend to at present. It could be mutually beneficent after a fashion, but I'm not really in a position to make any commitments at this time.

That's just willful misreading. An open-topped 4 cannot be read as an O, nor can a reversed C be read as an F, and there's a T two characters to the right of that R. If he's reading those characters as those letters... well, I don't know what to say to that. Certainly nothing pleasant. It's no harder to read than an aggressively cursive style, in my opinion. Context and name familiarity really should make this a trivial exercise.

I think I can speak for most of the community in saying that you'll find the old playerbase ready and willing to commit, if in fact you decide to moderate it. Though the font set could use some moderation as well, or at least a key. It took me a minute to differentiate z from e.

He can read cursive. But that ain't cursive. Also, I can't read cursive.I have never learned what is cursive until I actually met him and I think it is the most stupid thing ever. Trying to make reading harder is silly.

There are more fonts that say "Space" than that which are easier to read for those not blessed with a perfect understanding of the English language.
