Im without internet for awhile shortly, what'll happen to folding then? just finish the one its doing and keep attempting to connect to the internet?

That's about it. You can tell F@H not to try to contact after uploading the next work unit, but if there will be no connection, it shouldn't matter if it sends an attempt to connect every now and then.
The easiest thing may be to stop the service from loading on system startup, but you'll have to remember to restart it when you get your net service running again.

I couldn't help but laugh at that post being #404.
There's an option on the system tray icon "pause when done" which should make it stop after the current WU is completed. That should keep it from trying anything while you're without a connection.

Yes that's normal. When you start a new work unit it usually gives you a ridiculous estimate. As your CPU progresses it will become a little more in check with reality.

I have a 1.7Ghz P4 and even that takes no more than a maximum of 4-5 days for a work unit (although I can't do the large ones) so the time should come down rapidly as the WU progresses.

Frame time is now 2m30, for a total of 2 days for this specific WU.

Ok, I just finished my first WU last night. But it won't upload, nor can I receive a new WU (obviously).
Has anyone experienced that before, is there a simple thing to do ? I can't find anything in the FAQ except a fleeting comment about it.

I've finished a huge unit. But it still says i finished 0 in my userpage.

Give it some time to update. they don't do the updates in realtime, afaik.
