And congrats to sahkunder, who has just racked up an incredible two million points, which I think is a bit more than the next four highest point totals on the team combined!!! :wow:

 :worship: :hatsoff: [party]  :salute:  :goodjob:

YES!

So now I have the PS3 folding like there's no tomorrow, and my laptop at work and my desktop at home are up and running... :D

Sad thing is I realized I forgot to restart F@H when they did an update to our computers a couple of weeks ago and I didn't realize I was not producing anything anymore :p

I signed up, when will my name appear on that list??

I will run it in a C2D E6300 on idle, 2GB of RAM.

Welcome, and thanks for contributing!

Your name won't appear on the official F@H stats page until you've completed a work unit and have been given credit for your contribution.

You name will appear on the forum team list when the above conditions are met AND whenever Abbadon finds time to edit the post. Which may be a while, due to his computer woes.

:goodjob:
Great to see new folders coming on board. We have six more active folders in today's team summary, we've now topped 20K points in one day and our average is on its way to that level.

And welcome back, Dojoboy :) Straight back in with a 1760 point SMP WU.

I've checked Process Explorer it has been using 50% of my CPU power for some time now.

But out of 172 users there are only 35 active. Why? Haven't they turned on their PC over the last week?

And sahkuhnder looks like a one man team.

We've been going for quite a wile, and a lot of those inactive users have been so for a lot longer than a week.

Now that we are seeing a few more high rolling SMP and PS3 folders in our list, let's hope that the rest of the team will catch up on sahkunder, who has been doing well over 50% of our team total.

Welcome back Masque!! :)

I may have to dust off Radioactive_Monkey, too...

Bah. I get back and snag the #5 producer spot on the team, and do I get a welcome? Noooooo.

;)

You already announced your own presence. I figured Dojo needed his own fanfare :)

AARGH!!
I seem to have a problem with my PC, part of my processing power is used by two suspect processes (csrss and mpiexec). It made me miss two deadlines :(
I'm back on the regular client, but even that takes 4 days instead of 2-3.
I don't know what to do, none of the AV find anything, yet I constantly lose about 20% power.

Google csrss and mpiexec. I think you'll find they are both essential to your Windows system. The latter is actually the process that launches and manages SMP processes.

You may choose to consider Windows itself to be a "suspect process". of course, but, as a Mac user, I couldn't possibly comment :p

Slightly off topic, but it appears that some worms/trojans can use csrss for their own malevolent functions.
Anyway, I'm working on it.
Keep up the good work, guys. And welcome to EconomistBR.

I can't explain why the process was running away on you, but csrss.exe is important for normal functioning of your computer.

csrss.exe is the main executable for the Microsoft Client/Server Runtime Server Subsystem. This process manages most graphical commands in Windows. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.

2 days and yet not a sigle sign that I am contributing.

Folding@home has been using 50% of my processor for 3 days now and it has only completed 60% of the Work Unit.

It will take over 6 years (12 hours everyday) to reach AlanH current contribution for example.... over 6 years!
That's like February 2014.

Now I understand why so many CFC users have given up.:(

Points are not what F@H is about.
