Do you have Telepathic (mind communication) or Telekinetic (mind over matter) abilities?

If so, please give details.

I don't have these abilities. I don't think anyone here does but then again we had a guy who talked to his god (and was answered) on a regular basis so we never know... ;)

I do!

I'm reading your mind right now

you are thinking about....

SEX

Oh and I can move large object with a mere thought

*slams two gas giants together in the adromeda galaxy*

Weeeeeee, that was fun!

I'm curious, sourboy, do you believe in either?

I don't know if this counts under either, but i have had visions of the future. They appear for less than a second, and i forget about them, and when they happen, i'm like whoa!

Any episodes I've experienced of what could be considered telepathy to a more excitable mind could more easliy be attributed to coincidence. Especially when taking into consideration the rarity of such an episode.

Do the words, " Luke, I am your father ring a bell?" ?

Telepathy no, ESP yes

I don't know what the right word is for that , but once I " saw " road accident seconds before it happened exactly as I saw it

Premonition

I think that being as there are roughly 6 billion people on Earth, someone has to have some sort of uncontrollable psychic ability, whether it’s premonition in dreams or while awake. I don’t think however anyone is telepathic, telekinetic, able to have out of body experiences, the ability to talk to the dead(YES this counts John Edwards too), ect..

I believe its all in your head, people tend to notice patterns & coincidences and apply a greater meaning to things that are simply random isolated occurrences.

Although I can’t begin to explain some of the weird déjà vu I’ve had before, times when I couldn’t have possible been there before & yet known I had somehow. Probably just electrodes misfiring in your memory making you “remember” something that never happened.

Neither and I'm not sure that I want to too.... but you probably knew I was going to write that anyway. :P

I have had some experiences, but I can't bring them forth volunatarily.

I suppose it could be coincidence or even mathematical laws of certainty.

The Great Randi has a standing $1,000,000 challenge to anyone who can demonstrate such powers as have been mentioned.
(James Randi, an ex-magician himself, is the sceptical "world's most outspoken investigator of the paranormal")
His site, "The James Randi Educational Foundation", is located at:
http://www.randi.org/ ......

At JREF, we offer a one-million-dollar prize to anyone who can show, under proper observing conditions, evidence of any paranormal, supernatural, or occult power or event. The prize is in the form of negotiable bonds held in a special investment account.
The JREF does not involve itself in the testing procedure, other than helping to design the protocol and approving the conditions under which a test will take place. All tests are designed with the participation and approval of the applicant. In most cases, the applicant will be asked to perform a relatively simple preliminary test of the claim, which if successful, will be followed by the formal test.
Preliminary tests are usually conducted by associates of the JREF at the site where the applicant lives. Upon success in the preliminary testing process, the "applicant" becomes a "claimant."
At the formal test, in advance, an independent person will be placed in charge of a personal check from James Randi for US$10,000.
In the event that the claimant is successful under the agreed terms and conditions, that check shall be immediately surrendered to the claimant, and within ten days the James Randi Educational Foundation will pay to the claimant the remainder of the reward, for a total of US$1,000,000.
One million dollars in negotiable bonds is held by an investment firm in New York, in the "James Randi Educational Foundation Prize count," as surety for the prize funds.
Validation of this account and its current status may be obtained by contacting the Foundation by telephone, fax, or e-mail.

Please be advised that several claimants have suffered great personal embarrassment after failing these tests. I strongly advise you to conduct proper double-blind tests of any ability you believe you can demonstrate, before attempting to undergo a testing for this prize. This has saved me and many claimants much time and work, by showing that the powers were quite imaginary on the part of the would-be claimant. Please do this, and do not choose to ignore the need for such a precaution.

Here is the actual application:

Soooo.....if anyone thinks that they may have such special powers, why not apply? It won't cost you anything, and you could win a million dollars. :D
(Although I am betting that you won't. ;) )

There is one telepathy thing that you can do for laughs. Tell someone that you can read their mind, that you know what they are thinking. They will deride this, of course.

So you go ahead and prove it. Ask them to hang on a minute. Rub your head, roll your eyes, etc. and say:

"You are thinking that...I don't know what you are thinking!"

You will be absolutely right. :D

I think ESP might be possible to a certain extent but I dont completely buy it though. However, quantum nonlocality has shown that particles seperated in space and time can interact with one another and influence each other. Since our brains are like quantum interfaces when you get down to the nitty gritty, why not? I keep an open mind about it.

Wasn't the belief to possess ESP one symptom of schizofrenia?

I've had several instances of precience, they came at random times and only involved just one subject matter, but they were all highly accurate. These no longer happen because I am no longer involved in said subject, excpet for one lapse in the last month when I got a funny feeling again.
