I vote that a link to the game thread is placed in this thread, as I only check my subbed threads and rarely check the IOT forum for new IOT's and barely even check NES. I do not care where the game is played.

Which is exactly why i am advocating for a link to be put in this thread to the game thread, because I wont find it for a while if one isnt made , i only check subed threads

I hosted MP1 partially offsite; I'd keep people here updated though so they could turn in orders and such.

I will however put a link to the game thread here, and edit turns into it for housekeeping purposes.

When the actual game starts, this post will be continually edited so it lists all the turns, so players who primarily roam in IOT will be able to follow more easily.

You're free to copy/paste stuff into the other signup thread if you want.

It'd take quite a bit of work to compile all the backstories in this thread and then link to them in the next one.

Understanding the needs of the IOT fanbase I will keep a link to the most recent update in my signature, and will possibly also bump this thread each update. I do encourage you, however, to check your subscribed threads periodically in case I ever make a slipup.

We have a new turn at this URL for those of the IOT base who don't routinely check the NES subforum. Particular developments are massive expansions on some powers' parts due to insane funding, Romanora's economy performing a grand experiment due to banking most of its tax revenue, and tensions flaring between Ailedhoo and Sonereal's nations, and the fact a nomadic nation has the best healthcare in the world.

The latest turn is here. So far only about half the player base is active but hopefully that will change!

In coming turns I intend to apply a bonus for larger nations to reflect their higher chance of mineral wealth, so I suggest one expands... though nations that don't expand get 2% extra growth per turn. So it's a now or later choice.
