I'm pretty sure by the time a corpse has rotted to dust there will be new corpses to replace it. Not to mention they could embalm their corpses to keep them around for at least a thousand years.

EDIT: Of course embalming isn't an easy or cheap task so same problem with the droids, the upkeep of embalming every single corpse the population produces would drive your economy into the dirt.

The way it sounds from Ailed's posts there would be a large population of zombie slaves and a small faction of necromancers controlling it all, with the small amount of necromancers never going to be bountiful enough to fill in for losses.

To: The Kesjer of the Baltik Peoples
From: The Emperor of the Empire

It has come to our attention that the city of Whiteshore has been built on or very near your claims, we apologize for this misunderstanding and hope that we can come to a peaceful solution. While I as Emperor do not have power to grant you control of the city as only the citizens of Whiteshore can do that, and they very much wish to stay where they are and within the Empire.

However I would like to offer a program to jointly share the river that Whiteshore is on, and to offer an agreement, I will get an agreement for free trade between your settlements and Whiteshore, in exchange you will not conduct raids against the city of Whiteshore.

Are we in Agreement?

We'll not bow our heads and surrender our rights to a confederacy masquerading as an empire.

Are you yourselves not a confederacy as well? We just call ourselves The Empire, as we have no true singular culture in our confederacy, and thus we are a hodgepodge of multiple city states with very different cultures and thus an Empire. You call yourselves the Baltik Peoples, because you have one unified cultural identity and History, the only single cultural identity and history we have is The Empire.

Fair enough we will not bow ours either, the people of Whiteshore along with the city are staying right where they are, and It will be defended from raids with every ounce of Imperial Blood we can muster. May your nation prosper, without the expense of ours.

You are claiming ancestral Baltik lands. No quarter will be given to the people of "Whitehorse" if they do not vacate the area or pledge allegiance to the kesjer.

There wasn't anyone there when my people settled it, granted being built on top of salt was probably the reason. Even so The People of Whiteshore do not wish to be a part of your confederacy, they want to be a part of my confederacy, they have prospered and had peace within the Empire and they believe that their culture will be incompatible with yours, Your people are warlike and raiders, they are traders and merchants, and the people cannot just pack up and leave because of the salt bed it is built on. We are deeply sorry about this misunderstanding, but we cannot just up route an entire society that has peacefully been living there, with their own culture for well longer than the empire has even existed as this city was actually founded during the period of wars known as the Age Before Heros. We wish you no infringement, as these people just want to stay put, mine salt, and make money. They mean you no harm or disrespect.

This argument is pointless; I just checked our claims and we merely border each other, we didn't overlap.

Ok, good, when i looked at it it looked like we overlaped even if only slightly, the free trade agreement however is still open if you want it

Yeahhhh I'm having all factions follow the same barebones mechanics for the good of my sanity. The more exceptions I make the more complex the game becomes. :p

Cool.

Also, @Aliedhoo's nation, I assume that the zombie slaves, while having a significant population, would be comparable to slaves in the Roman Empire. Sure, there were a lot of them, but there were a bunch of commoners as well who did work that was considered inappropriate for a slave. I imagine it would be similar in Aliedhoo's nation as well. Otherwise they would simply run out of bodies.

This could come in the 1st page :

Which literally everyone will proceed to fly over.

Contray to popular beleive the Necromancers like skeletons over slow zombies. Plus we have a active population of ghouls to recruit from.

Apart from these differences, however, the continents look much like those on our Earth. There are mountain ranges, rivers, forests, cities... all the water that spills over the edges of the continents is heated up and returns to the Skylands through condensation. The environment is somewhat chaotic, and there is no real "trend" of climates as there is on Earth. A frozen tundra can easily be mere miles away from a scorching desert.

The pic earlier compliments Sonic's 1st page entry.

A skeleton without muscles wouldn't be able to move.

A skeleton with muscles can't move without energy. A lot of things happening don't make sense. I strongly suggest breaking out the MTS3K mantra.
