Well yes that's sort of true.

I've been thinking about this a bit yesterday. Why Denmark and Sweden as their own civilizations but not Norway? Norway has done alot remarkable things history as Denmark and sweden (especially during the world war II) and of course the first one who discovered america (no, columbus were not the first one). They also have founded many cities, (like Dublin etc)

If Sweden and Denmark get their own civilization, let Norway get their own 2.

how come they didn't share their discovery with the other countries... Vikings were to get there, but than 500 years later, all the european countries still believed it was India there. and possibly even Norway, Sweden and Denmark believed that too..
I really don't know if what they did, was that much of an accomplishment if it wasn't recorded.
A lot of historians say Portugeessee fisherman also new about america but again somehow this knowledge just didn't really get passed on. Unless it is something the fisherman claimed after the fact and turned into a myth. but yeah viking remains have been found in North America.

Yes, I realize that they have their own culture. But now that Norway is combined with Sweden, Sweden doesn't have its own civ.

and what would he call this civilization then? Norway-Sweden? No, the best is would be separate, or Sweden on their own and Norway and denmark as Vikings.

Yeas, the best would be seperate. Unfortunately, we don't have room for any more civs. If they will be combined (they aren't yet) they will be called The Kingdom of Norway and Sweden.

do what u want, but Vikings(norway and denmark) would be FAR better option then The Kingdom of Norway and Sweden.

this might be insulting cause i'm not too familiar with the cultures, but i'll throw it out to get an answer, so be kind in response.. but why not call em all.. Scandinavians.

Fine, I'll go with the original plan. The Vikings civ and the civilization of Sweden. The 2 leaders for the Vikings will be two Vikings and the Swedish leader will be Swedish.

About Scandinavia, then the flag og the Kalmar Union (the name of the unified scandinavia from 1389 to 1532) were the red cross on a yellow background.
