Or you could make the lumberjack a worker replacement and give it 2 defense.

I like the enthusiasm for the Lumberjack . The problem with the LJ being resourceless is a realism one, what would they use for their axes? And I already have a lot of worker replacements, so I'm hesitant to change it to one. Also, the clipper ship is a UU for the Inventors, iirc, and I don't want to borrow 2 UUs from other civs for New England.

Also, it seems you didn't download, maybe because my update post was the last post of the page. So, Version 1.1 is up! Lumberjacks and witches and the South, oh my!

Well, I feel like the South should be its own civ separate from the Confederacy because the Confederacy was already a substantial civ when I made it. I didn't want to worry about the Confederacy/South having 15 leaders and trying to narrow down UUs and UBs and the like. Also, I thought it may offend some people if I were to lump the two together.

I believe I know how to fix this. Click Ctrl+Alt+O to open the BUG options and go all the way to the right to "System" and set the two dropboxes near the top to None. I believe that fixes it.

Yep, still updating. Right now I'm slowly getting civilopedia entries for all the leaders, so it'll probably be a while before I release another version.

I'm back from my modding vacation, and I got three civilizations-worth of leader entries filled out, so I should be done somewhat quickly with civilopedia for leaders and nations. After that, I'll do civilopedia entries for units and buildings, then diplo text, then I'll get as much custom unit and building art as possible before I *gulp* have to learn how to make my own.

I've traveled a lot and am a Park Ranger that has worked many part of the US from the Pacific Northwest to New England, CA to AR, so may be able to direct you to historical sites and parks where you can obtain historically accurate background material for you mods.

Yes I'm having that same problem so I still haven't downloaded this yet :/
