you cant just say coke or pepsi

you have to go in detail

COKE (classic) > Pepsi (regular)

Coke (diet) = Pepsi (diet) they both suck

Coke (caffeine free diet) = Pepsi (caffeine free diet) = (my god its awful)

Coke (0) = Pepsi (1) = suicide inducing

CHERRY COKE > Wild Cherry Pepsi

COKE WITH LEMON > Pepsi Twist

ANTIFREEZE > Pepsi Blue

Coke Vanilla ? Vanilla Pepsi (VERY close, both ratehr bad)

Dasini <<<<<< AQUAFINA

Minute Maid <<<<<<< TROPICANA

Poweraid < GATORADE

NESTEA >> Brisk Iced Tea

FULL THROTTLE/ROCKSTAR > AMP (energy drinks)

and I could go on forever but wont

I'm dissapointed. The thread title led me to think cola-makers had started selling a new drink that is drunk hot :(

I prefer water over most carbonated drinks. However, I have a soft spot for Vanilla Coke just because it tasted similar to one soda brand I could only find in Asia.

By the way, does anyone know what happened to Vanilla Coke ? It was promoted very heavily 2/3 years ago in the US and now I cannot find them anymore ?

Yeah, I miss it too, it was nice. It broke my usual Peps>Coke viewpoint. We had it over a few years back, but I think they got rid off it... *wikipedia* Yeah, says they phased it out at the end of 2005. But it also says that they've reintroduced it in New Zealand and the US, so I don't know. Maybe some shops don't stock it.

RC Cola blows them both away....RC, that's Royal Crown Cola!! Too bad most places don't sell it.

Oh god, RC.

PC is just as bad.

gah.

Yeah, a can of RC is 50¢ as opposed to $1 for Coke

But some places have coke for 50¢, so it all evens out

$1 for a can of Coca-Cola!?! Jesus, you guys are getting the shaft.

$1 canadian.

In some places that used to be cheap (remember, $CAN used to be 60¢ US)

Then Silver Dollar started selling 2 for $1, and then many vending machines follow.

I am under the impression that at Ontario High Schools, to try and convince kids to drink water, or healthier beverages, cans are $1.25-$1.75, while bottles of water are $1 or so.

As well, I have seen a can of coke for $2 before. Recently too. It was at a place where there were no alternatives, so they would gyp you because you needed a drink of some sort to stay cool.

It will take 2 years for the canadian dollar to affect canadian prices.

yeah, it sucks

shopping in buffalo all the way!

That's funny, fighting over shelf space... like it's their job? Make the grocer's deal with it... just dump it in the aisle, and park in the coke guy till he QQ's.

eyes -> OO
crying -> QQ

(must be a World of Warcraft thing?)

I don't drink a lot of soda any more. On the rare occasion when I do, usually it's Coke, if I have a choice between the two.

I've taken to drinking protein/meal shakes if I'm not drinking water, though.
