The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

That's the problem with loading multiple mods into a game.

It would be interesting to see several buildings merged together from more than 1 mod...

Yes, but it attacked me while I was attacking a bear...

Yeah, the unicorn is scripted to attack *anything* with a weapon drawn. Even guards. Even you.

So think twice before using it as your mount.

Getting Umbra is FAR too easy...

Stealth + Wicked Fireball (Wizard's Fury I think) = cheesy wins!

By the time the NPC knew what hit them, they couldn't even make it up 2 stairs before dying.

I think I'll try a Bretonian Steal-Wizard just to see how easy it can get. :)

Did you talk to her first? She would tell you a little bit of her story (I think) then let you make a choice.

She is easy to beat. In my game I attacked her at low level and didn't use any magic. I had this nice Alkavari Sunderblade which rendered her weapon and armor useless just after a few hits. :)

Umbra is a great weapon to carry around, because of the 0 weight for quest items.

I guess that's one Daedric Quest I'm not completing. :D

Got some nice armor, now, too, and I'm starting to find Daedric and Glass armor now that I'm at level 21.

My character is light armor only so all those ebony and daedric armors are useless to me. Unlike Morrowind, in Oblivion it doens't look like ebony or daedric armors/weapons could hold more enchantment than glass items. :( I could be wrong... Amount of enchantment seems to be determined just by soul gem.

You'd want to, eventually. There's a final Daedric quest that require you to complete all other Daedric quests first, and that final Daedric quest has a kick-ass reward.

Besides, Umbra is not that great. Both Ebony Blade and Goldbrand are better choices. And weapons you enchanted yourself are always better, since unlike on armor and clothings, you can use multiple enchantments.

True. I plan to return it and use this sword I just enchanted:

I just started to enchant weapons after completing the Mages Guild quests. I've got something like 30 points damage for Shock, Fire and Frost for 1 second and a little soul trap for good measure

So, what does the charge 1600/1600 mean? And I guess you can only use it 18 time before having to shell out another x,000 gold to recharge it?

Gold's probably starting to not become a problem for me, with all the enchanted weapons and glass armor NPCs have. :)

It just means it needs 1600 to refill the charge to full.

You can either refill it at a mage guild (cost money), or use grand soul gem to refill it yourself. A filled grand soul gem that contains a grand level soul usually has 1600 charge.

Also, varla stone from Elven ruins can recharge all your magical weapons at the same time.

I hit her with a poisoned arrow from the top level, and by the time she made it up to where I was, she dropped dead. I didn't even have to take out my sword.

If you're into cheesy wins, you'd enjoy how I do the arena with my character. I use the Staff of Paralysis and Umbra in the Arena. I hit the person with the paralysis, whack them a couple of times with Umbra, then go invisible once they get up. I sneak up behind the combatant, hit them again with paralysis, and finish them off with Umbra. Makes the arena fights really fast and really easy. :)

One thing that annoys me is that the NPCs are all really quick to bring up their shields and I get a lot of shield hits. I don't use a shield, just a one handed weapon liek a longsword or preferably somethnig fancy like the Akavari Sunderblade.

I accidently overwrote my main save again! Atleast I have my level 18 character... (at the corrupt imperial gaurdsman quest... I think.) I think that was before I did the Arena, too, which I think accounted for atleast 1 level.

Atleast I remembered most of the locations I've been too. I reclaimed the Varla Stone, finished the Arena (found another interesting bug - if you use a spell to defeat the last orc before he has time to come forward, you can't collect his armor because when you do, he talks to you!).
