I think the concept of "manifest destiny" was pretty clear... Western civilization would advance to the coast... the areas settled by those folks, the USA made them states, by votes, over time.
I don't defend any injustices to the Indians.
It wasn't the USA being imperialistic... it was western civ.
If a Western civilization such as France extended its borders to the Pacific at the expense of the native populations in between, would that be imperialistic?

Maybe start a petition to give the land back to the Indians... the UN would like that too... a win win situation, the world will have harmony.

Lemme straighten this out. Asking them about contraception was a distracting and unfair conspiracy? It's their own damn fault they and their constituents have wackjob positions on the matter.
If you follow politics long enough you will see that its just a great circle. Obama is just the New Nixon, the defender of a broken, corrupt system, under siege by agents of hope and change.
