The "I Got A New Game!" Thread

The entire game is a sidequest

I feel for anyone who actually bought it. I borrowed it and it served as a good week's worth of entertainment.

Yes, that is definitely true. Still, great timekiller. Then again, I really don't expect all that much out of video games anymore.

Ah, SimCity 4. I had fun playing it years ago. And again I shall, on my laptop.

Still a super-fun game, but more fun to play with the 3000 soundtrack, which was the best in the series- you can download it legally and for free from the official website.

The Void
Ben There, Dan That! + Time Gentlemen, Please!
Civ V Denmark + Babylon
Zeno Clash
Aura: Fate of the Ages
Magicka
Garry's Mod

Um...help.

I rather like the SC4 soundtracks though. Very appropriate urban feel to them. Still, you've given me videos to listen to.

I'm still surprised my dual-core computer is running it very well without random crashes, which was what I heard from online forums. Either the Steam version was patched properly or it only happens if the region/city is large enough.

Sale? Because I can't understand any other reason for buying so many games at once.

Indeed. $35 isn't too shabby.

I just bought Red Orchestra and I have an extra guest pass, does anyone want it?

I saw it on Steam, what is it like?

The premise is basically your high school chemistry class creating molecules on an industrial scale.

It plays a lot like a really good Flash puzzle game on Kongregate. Basically, you use (for lack of a better word) circuity to move atoms and have special modules that do certain actions (rotate the atom, form bonds, etc.), with the ultimate goal of creating a certain number of molecules and moving them to the output square.

Honestly, it's easier to watch a gameplay video than me trying to explain it:

Link to video.

I like it; I think $5 is a decent price for a game like this.

I bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 as well as its Vietnam expansion pack (and some DLC) for $10

Hopefully it will be finished downloading by tomorrow morning :)

I picked up the Isle of Wight RailWorks Expansion Pack, RailWorks 2 Edinburgh-Glasgow Route DLC, and RailWorks 2 Bristol-Exeter yesterday and Men of War: Assault Squad today. Can't wait to play them :D
