The Impressions of NESing

well i'm not a well known NESer, actually it would be more of a compitetion between weither i'm even a known NESer, and i've only been showing how I react to things recently, I however do know that I'm able to see all sides of a conflict

also my avatar changes every month or so first the civ 3 fascist symbol, now its the communist one, thinking of democracy next :p

who doesnt

Like Putin indeed, but for different reasons, mostly (although my Bushism and Putinism are both caused, among other things, by spite and dislike for such generalizations that are thrown at them; only, with Putin's politics I for the most part agree, while about most of Bush's politics I simply don't care and find his rhetoric rather silly and inefficient). Although, has the thought crept into your mind that this might not be the best thread for political discussions?

Finally, someone remembered.
We can start a brand new one, just for NESers. I've always wanted to know where everyone stands :mischief:

And how the stance is influenced by NESing. My political stance certainly is, I keep putting myself into the shoes of various world leaders and analyzing their actual and possible actions from the viewpoing of NESing.

I have a feeling I would get into lengthy arguments with Gelion & North King if we made such a thread...but it would be more pleasant than doing it in OT.

I am against such a thread though, officially. That IS what OT is for after all. And the World History forum for that matter.

Anyway, I think have a brilliant idea. I hate making lists, but I love answering questions, especially when I get to make fun of hte people asking them. So those of you who want to know what I think about them and/or some other specific NESers can feel free to ask me about that. Then I'll just compile that into an impression list.

Hey das, I quite desperately wanna know what you think about me.

I'd be interested in what you think about me...

Finmaster - yet another Finn. :p Played in NES2 I, then disappeared into the Finnish army, later returned for ITNES. Generally has a penchant for stalin's NESes, like myself; as far as nations go, mostly takes something Finnish, Scandinavian, Swiss or Dacian, or so I have observed. All-around good NESer, very commited, writes good stories. Notoriously nostalgiac for the good old days. ;)

Fine what do you think of me?

silver2039 - an insane perverted Indian (sic!) genocidal maniac. We need more people like him, in other words. Aside from that, he's technically one of the best NESers here, objectively-speaking. Some might find his methods disturbing, but I think they're his strongest side. Also he's one of the more flexible people here as far as nations go.

I'd be interested in what you think about me...

jalapeno_dude - "a small plump dark green Mexican hot pepper". Aside from that, for some reason I have failed to form much of an opinion about him over the years. Does seem to like very original nations, also was one of the readers of my old althist in the Stories forum. Finally started a NES of his own, just when I lost all enthusiasm for fresh starts and overburdenned myself with other NESes anyway. :p

If you have any at all, can you do your impressions of Silver Steak?

Such an insidiously evil plot to make us beg for thoughts. I told you all he was up to no good! :p Fine, I'll bite.

Haha.. true for most parts.

Abuot the nations I pick: Scandinavian and Swiss nations are indeed my favourites, I suppose I have some sick pervercy of making peaceful neutral small nations go suicidally nuts against superior powers next to them. And I also use Finland (or the Finno-Ugric Fennians in fresh starts) often because its easy to play for me. I liked Dacia too, altough its not particularry something I would pick often.. in fact I've used Dacia only once.

But hey.. "yet another Finn".. hey, I'm the original very first Finn on these forums ;)

I think I'll update my own impressions list soon, since I've now got to known some new players..

Are you ever going to finish that althist? :p

He abandoned it ages ago. Though it was very interesting. I remember it was the first story I read after joining the forum.
