I think that is a variation of the phrase, "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link". I don't know where the origin is though.

Whats a good way to drain a AA battery? (My new and used rechargables got mixed up and I figure I might as well recharge them).

Just toss them all in the charger. It doesn't have to be entirely drained first. If you want to drain it fairly fast, put it in a flashlight and leave it on overnight.

They are talking about fraternity members. It's called the Greek system because they use Greek letters as their names.
