So Endor is a moon of a moon? :crazyeye:
It's unclear whether "Endor" refers to the gas giant or the Sanctuary Moon orbiting said gas giant. The problem is that most direct references to "Endor" in Return of the Jedi say "the forest moon of Endor", which could be interpreted either as discussing "Endor, the forest moon" or "the forest moon orbiting the planet Endor". Most people that give a crap about this sort of thing use the name to talk about both, and use the term "Sanctuary Moon" when describing the moon.

Since the gas giant never appeared in Return of the Jedi, even though it really ought to have been clearly visible next to the moon, a few sources attempted to claim that it had been destroyed (somehow) beforehand and that the Sanctuary Moon had assumed a planetary orbit. Aside from being an astrological nightmare, this was directly contradicted by sources like the Ewoks series, which depicted the gas giant. Ultimately, the Essential Atlas (an excellent book, by the way) resolved the problem by stating that the destruction story was just an in-universe hoax.

Question -Can Any one disprove these two ideas ?

I found them In an book and i wanted to know if anyone could knock these ideas down ?

100% Darwinian Evolution = Disproven (Look up Cambrian explosion)
Creationism story - proven if you change 7 days to 7 cycles.

Quote from bible
The Earth moves round the heavens (which includes space and energy)
so they didn't think the world was flat.

What exactly is a "cycle"?

I suggest to take such questions to an evolution thread because they could easily take over this one.

What is 100% Darwinism? The theory of evolution as of Darwin's time? That's like attacking the current theory of gravity by saying "100% Newton - disproven, see Mercury's orbit's precession".

Also, there are creationists who believe in the literal 7 day creation. Also, why can we suddenly substitute "cycles" (whatever that means) for "days", but take the rest of the text literally? Once you start taking one part not literally, there's no reason why you shouldn't do the same with the others.

The order of creation is still off regardless of whether you use the Chaper 1 or Chapter 2 story.

I have a non-broken foot that I injured a few days ago. At first I could not walk for a few days. Now it is much better and I can walk on it mostly except I walk with a bit of a limp. How long after it feels fine should I wait before running again?

If I am driving straight in my lane and someone opens a car door right infront of me who is to blame?

As long as you were not breaking any speeding laws, it would be the other persons fault. Defensive driving is not a law. It can be argued that it may or may not have been preventable. Only you know if you, intentionally "rammed" the door, but unless you are good at hiding that fact it may come out. It also is determined on the "officers" perspective. They usaully have the last word, unless you opt to fight it in court and they do not show up. Then it is just you and the judge.

Defensive driving is prefered though.

EDIT: NEvermind. Someone, SOMEWHERE, told me this question warrants its own thread, so...

When is the earliest you all would say it is acceptable to start mowing on a Saturday? During the week, pretty much everyone, even the lawn service folks, hold off until 8am. But Saturday....might folks be wanting to sleep in?

Depends. It's fall now, so it wouldn't hurt to wait it off until after 8:00 for good courtesy. If it were still summer, well, I'd say forget it and go ahead and mow. But, it all depends on the size of your yard, temperature, distance from the windows, and how much your neighbors annoy you themselves (if that's a lot then go 5 AM!!)

Question: I'm organizing some pictures by date, using yyyy-mm-dd. However a few of them span 2 days & it's too hard to distinguish one day from the other to make seperate folders. What should I do? yyyy-mm-dddd doesn't look right nor does yyyy-mm-dd-dd.

I have a neighbor who does it twice a week at 7 am. That's too early

Depending on what kind of neighbours you have (when they go to sleep, etc), I'd hold off until about 10.

Could someone please identify the song, or at least type of music, in this video:
